According to my rather dated food directory honey roasted peanuts/cashews are roughly 8 syns for 28g depending which make you look at. They may be more in the new directory though. HTH

    Thanks!

The bag is 50g so I'll have it over 2 days :) , not as bad a I thought it would be

I'm sure my Consultant said they were 13 Syns each - I'd try to avoid Mr Kiplings and make your own (from the Christmas Book) as they work out at only 3.5 syns each

Well I suppose smaller portions are better for losing weight - unless you're like me and want a second one to satisfy the craving!:rotfl:

    Evening all,

DKAM - you're not alone, I've caught a cold from my kids this week. I don't think there are any syns in the cold remedies in tablet form, but I've been fretting about the throat sweets at 1.5-2 syns each, which didn't seem fair. I hope you feel better soon hun. Last week of term for my lot this week, so I have to make sure Santa ;) is completely organised before the 17th.

I've had a good Sunday today. I spent most of the morning in bed reading a fab book, which I've finished this evening. Spent the rest of the day making craft stuff for my family Christmas hampers, and finished it off with a nice roast dinner this evening.

    Food today: EE

B - banana, satsuma, Muller light
L - bacon, egg, salad, beans
D - chicken, broccoli, carrots, peas, cabbage, SW roasties, 2 x yorkshire puds (6 syns) gravy (2 syns)
    Milk - HEA
    HiFi bar - HEB

Weigh in tomorrow, and only one more week to go before we have the last one before Christmas. It's our Christmas party at our SW class a week tomorrow, and we have to all take along some party food, that is SW friendly. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd thought about making some of the SW mince pies, but wondered if anyone else had made some party food that was adapted to be SW friendly that they might not have tried before? I'd considered attempting to adapt a cheesecake recipe to make it very low fat/low sugar, but haven't worked that one out yet. I want to make something the day before the party, because I'm out all the day of it visiting my eldest sister.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

MrsE, do you not have access to a kettle?
What about chicken pieces, leftovers such as chilli, etc?
Sorry I have no idea really! :o

I do have access to a kettle.
You know what it is, I ODed on pasta salads & now I'm sick of them:o
  • Do you have access to the SW website? There is a 7 day menu for EE, veggie version which may be helpful, link here: http://www.slimmingworld.com/healthy_eating/free_trial_menu.aspx

Thanks :) I have looked at that although half the recipes I do already, the other half don't appeal to me... i'm a fussy !!!!!! :D

This does annoy me though: "for a vegetarian alternative to Müllerlight Yogurt, use very low fat natural yogurt sweetened to taste with artificial sweetener."... YUCK! .... Alternatively, ignore the SW brand affiliations  and buy Shape Zero / Activia FF / Aldi FF / Asda FF etc, all of which are veggie :P I refuse to believe there's enough of a calorie difference between them to make a difference to my weight loss... (though I suppose at least they recognise that mullers aren't veggie, i got incredibly sick of having that conversation at weightwatchers).
