OMG such a bad day yesterday! Refusing to dwell on it though, I just have to remember that alcohol is bad because it has empty calories and reduces my willpower for resisting takeaways!

    Plan for tomorrow:
B - 2 weekabix and skimmed milk (HEA + HEB)
L - leftover chilli (free) and baked potato
    D - cajun chicken soup + 2 slices of bread (6 syns)

    Snacks - fruit, mullerlight yoghurt

Cajun chicken oup sounds delish! Do you have a recipe?

I second that, it sounds lovely and would be an interesting change for me too.

Well I have decided that today is going to be a red one..
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 28g oats (B)
    • banana
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • apple
    • orange
    • salmon fillet
    • cauliflower
    • activia (2.5)
    • pineapple
    • sweet n sour pork (4)
    • onions+carrots - stirfried in
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • fibre plus bar (B)
    • activia (2.5)
So that will be 2A+Bs and 9.5syns accounted for..
Im doing hubby rice with his sweet n sour -but Im just going to have lots of stirfried carrots n onions mmmmmm - there are peppers in the stirfry anyway and I may "buy" some peas or sweetcorn ... we will see...

The cornedbeef hash recipe is one I posted on the grocery challenge *will copy it over in a mon to save me typing* :p - on EE you just need to count the corned beef -but I count mine on Green (I pay more for the cornedbeef than on EE -but get 2 A+Bs ;)).... tis proper stick to your ribs food and I make huge vats of the stuff ...

oohh I forgot to say that when I went shopping on Saturday I wore a pair of size 16 trousers and and 18 top and my heeled boots -I felt all :D .. even though I accept that the 16 trousers were more of an exception than the norm for me yet... they were still a 16 :rotfl:

Right -I will get off for now, have a great day everyone and keep up the great work!!

    morning all

had a flexi day yesterday - xmas decorating called for choc, baileys and pizza!

today I am going to go over syns but will limit for the rest of the week to make up for it

brekkie - Activia 0%, 1 slice best of both (4.5 syns), flora light (2 syns) egg and bacon (f) and 1 bit of xmas tree choc (2 syns)
lunch - who knows, going out. will try to have salad or cous cous but might end up with a sandwich and crisps (about 10 syns probably)
dinner - beef curry with rice (2 syns for oil)

so minimum 20.5 syns, will limit the rest of the week to 5-8 per day to make up for it

hope everyone is feelign festive now!
    Have a lovely holiday dizzy!

    MOrning everyone,
I'm going to jump in with my food for today...

    I'm on EE

I've had an early lunch today cause I'm off to Uni and its tricky to work out what to eat.

    No breakfast

Early lunch of: prawns, onions, mushrooms, cougette, cous cous and chilli powder. Fried in 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil. Then a small handful of grapes
I'm also going to take an apple with me.

Tea: Veggie pasta bake, probably served with a side salad.

I've got to get through today and tomorrow on the shopping I already have in. Then I can do a proper meal plan. Does anyone else plan every meal for the week or just for the day you're on?

I plan my evening meals but that's all, lunches I make up as the week goes along.
  • I'm feeling much more positive today, just made up a batch of meatballs, using EL mince, garlic, onions, and mixed italian spices.
Might have a green day today, if not going to fill up on loads of superfrees, might even have a go at doing the soup tomorrow, so want to get my stone award either this week or next week.

Oh and my scales are working! woo hoo! :j

Mrs M I just looked closely at your loooong list :rotfl:, mainly because of the earlier query as to whether someone was using yoghurt as an A. Where is your B? I can see 28g of oats but surely you should also have a scan bran to make up that B?

I never meal plan, Frankie. I will go as far as choosing what main protein to have for the week (either a chicken, or a piece of beef to use in various ways, or this week it is fish) but then I will drive home from work planning what to have for tea based on what i know I have in stock; and I prepare the next day's lunch to take to work similarly, by looking in the fridge and thinking - oh yes, that'll do nicely. But I am single so I just buy vegetables, salad stuff etc that I like so I think that makes it simpler.

    Hiya everyone,

The snow is now starting to thaw here:j but i've just seen the weather and were apparently due more snow this afty. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we dont.

Can someone help me please? My OH bought me some covent garden soup, the tom and basil one and leek and potato. Now i thought it might be a heb for half a carton but i've read conflicting posts. Some people have syned it as 6.5 syns for half a carton and others have used it as heb? Could someone pretty please check for me.

So i'm having a green day today -

B - scrambled eggs (half hea for milk)
L - covent garden soup depending on syns
T - italian chicken and pasta (heb for chicken and half hea for cheese)
S - ww yog, nana and satsumas and weetabix (heb + 2syns for sugar)

So far both heb's and 1hea - 2nd will be used in cuppas to keep me warm, and 2syns used. I'm keeping my syns to 10 a day this week to make up for the weekend:o and i'm also gonna get myself on the wii again.
