I would. I caught my 3 year old trading licks of his fromage frais with the dog the other day (just nipped through the door to the kitchen for a few seconds!). He was most upset when I told him NO!

I think the lesson to be learned here is....next time you catch the cat licking your dinner, don't tell DH :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Seriously, if you're going to cook it again I wouldn't worry, and even if you weren't, just cut the licked bit off and put it in the cats bowl :D
  • I'd definately eat it, but my cats sleep on my pillow (they are house cats!!) Hope you enjoy it!!

Never, I agree with PP the thoughts of having an animal on my work surfaces or bed makes me heave.
  • Lamb and cat spittle - no thanks _pale_ This is why I would never ever have house pets :) can you be sure that the cat has not licked any of your other food or surfaces, and is it putting its dirty paws and bottom on the places where you prepare food?

Oh i'm absolutely sure he does most of these things every day!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yes! I would eat it.

I sometimes let the dog drink my last dregs of tea. I did once and forgot to rinse it out before making a new cuppa, didn't remember til halfway thru the cup. I'm still alive

No, I can't, to be honest. Having said that I'm 40 and grew up with cats and have never, ever, not had at least one cat as a pet. Never had food poisoning form home, and neither have my family.
