Saeed wrote:I just got an email off a Russian lady telling me Skype does not do SIP calls so I can't use my Netgear TA612V hmmmm..... not too sure if she truly understood my question. Is there anyone using the Netgear TA612V with Skype??? If not, mine may be up for sale Kilty!
I'm interested if it is then, since I want to use it with SIPGate/Voxalot
Although are these things difficult to set up if you are already behind a router?0 -
Kilty: I have PM'ed you if you're still interested0

All required settings should be on the Sipgate site. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Thanks for posting the above navid ...will be useful if anything goes wrong with my experimenting. silly me did not notice that most of the sipgate settings are still in the ta612v even when opened so only had to change the stun to on and i was good to go.
Another question. Has anyone unlocked the ta612v before the 2 months of free calls are over and still managed to keep the free minutes or does sipgate relieve you of them once you unlock it??0 -

I unlocked it immediately and SIPGATE showed me as having the free minutes when I logged into my account.
Never used them, though.0 -
I unlocked the ta612v after a few days of owning it
Then used the free minutes, they expired the other day0
