I've just found the link to download the open listings report but it won't let me log in, I get the same 'you do not have access to this function of the Vendornet' message as when I try to download the preorder list - I'll have to phone or email I suppose.....0

Hi AT
Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, I went to London to see the Sound of Music - great fun.
I'll post some instructions in a little while - need food.

Thanks FFM, it may help someone else but not me - I still can't get into all the pro merchant perks. I phoned customer services, a really nice chap tried to see why I can't log in to the vendornet services and couldn't find the fault - he says that he's heard of this before and the techno bods can't see why either. He suggested clearing my cache, I think that I've done that but I still can't sign in to the extras.0

Hi AT
Have you tried completely logging out of Amazon and then logging back in. That may help with the Vendormat Login - not sure why but I think it has been mentioned on the Amazon Boards.

This only works if you are a PM (Pro Merchant)
On your Seller Account page click on Generate and download listing and fulfilment reports - under Manage Your Inventory
Click on Generate reports now
Log in
Scroll down to Open Listings Report and click in the box that says Yes, include data for all listings currently open.
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Preview button.
Then click on Generate Report Now and Return to Seller Account
You will be sent an email when your report is ready, or just keep looking, it's usually there within 5 - 10 minutes.
To find your report, from your Seller Account page again, click on Generate and download listing and fulfillment reports.
Click on Pickup generated reports
Then click on OpenListings-11/16/2006 22:21:13 GMT
Select 'save' and then chose a suitable location - your desktop for instance. I tend to keep the file name the same as given by Amazon but you could change it if you want. The download can take a few seconds.
I then close the dialogue box and find the icon on my desktop.
Double click on the icon, click on 'open' and choose Excel as the programme with which to open the file.
You will then find your items in an Excel spreadsheet. This method does lose the zeros from the front of ISBN's but that doesn't matter if you are not going to use the file to upload again.
There is a way to preserve the zeros but I would have to look into that again as I haven't done it for a while.
If you only get part way through and I have missed a step, let me know and I will take a closer look.

That's so frustrating!
I know I had the same problem in my early days, but I can't remember how it got solved.
I'll have a look around the Amazon Board and let you know if I find anything.

Hi AT
Don't know if this link will work: http://forums.prosperotechnologies.com/n/find/results.asp?webtag=am-Uksllconnect (if not just put Vendornet into the advanced search box for all forums)
It's the search results from the Amazon Boards.
The suggestion seems to be that a call to CS should work and they 'switch you on' to enable you to access Vendornet.
Maybe another call tomorrow and a request to talk to someone higher up (hopefully with more knowledge) might get it resolved.
Fingers crossed.

Hello AT
Sorry about delay in getting back to you but was out most of yesterday. I see you are having problems getting an Open Listings Report. Assuming you are a Pro-Merchant (which you ned to be to access the reports) you need to phone customer services to resolve the problem.
Once youve got the report downloaded on to your hard drive you will find that its called "catalog-generic-export".
If you open Excel and go to open this file (you will need to change the open files setting to all files to find it) The data will then load in to a spreadsheet and column "E" will be your prices.
You can then do a sum of the prices at the bottom of the column by typing in @sum( E1..E (whatever the last number in the column is)
Hope this helps but dont hesitate to come back if youre still having trouble.0
