I haven't checked the free gift situation but the last time I phoned an order through I wanted colour and black ink cartriges and there was a 3 for 2 offer on. I asked if I could have 2 black and one colour and was told that I could mix them up in the offer and the cheapest would be free - I then asked if this applied to jiffy bags too, he said yes, that's OK.
I don't know if this is just one member of the phone team but it's worth asking0 -
Can someone help solve a little puzzle for me ??
Ive been starting to list the many 1p books ive bought (doh!) and when looked at the others for sale there are many, many sellers with multiple listings. Every page has the same sellers on ????
the book is isbn 034050045x Mary stewart-Thornyhold
So do i report them all to Amazon and give some poor sod something to do till the weekend or is it a mistake ??
cheers in advance

It is called page hogging, and not allowed.
There is an email address on the first page that you can email and let them know the name of the seller.
I had to do this the other day for a DVD I was selling, he had 12 of them up, amazon sorted it within the hour.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
I thought it was it just seemed beyond daft to have that many repeats !!

I have a load of cds and dvds which are now excess to needs since my partner has them also. Amazon was suggested as a possibility (ebay is just too much hassle), can anyone comment on the success of selling 2nd hand dvds? £3 or £4 is all I want plus postage.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
talksalot81 - Selling them through Amazon is definitely the way to go with them. I've half emptied a cabinet of DVDs, as I realised my collecting was getting out of control (plus I'm thinking of moving house next year, so it would be a nightmare to pack them all).
Depending on what they are, and how desirable they are you're probably more likely to get about £3 per DVD (e.g. a film), but sometimes you can hit paydirt with some of them, and usually the most unlikely items are the ones that really pay.0 -

No they just get an email saying that their listings have been removed here is a copy of the text:
Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,
We are writing to let you know that we have cancelled your duplicate listings on the following item(s):
xxxxxxxxxx
We took this action because these items were listed in excess of one per category. One listing per category remains available for sale and you may amend this listing to indicate that you have multiple copies for sale.
In the future, please ensure that you limit your listings to one (1) item per category per item in compliance with our policy. Please note that continued violation of this policy may negatively affect your account.
Thank you for your cooperation and your interest in Amazon.co.uk.
Best regards,
Merchant and Item Quality

I received this message after I reported some page hogging - they took my listing down as well - duh !!!!!
I now only report from an email address not associated with my Amazon Account and have not had any of my listings removed since.

I think [but am not certain] that if they are listing at different prices/conditions/deleivery destinations and descriptions etc then that doesn't count for removal. I think its only when the lisitngs are identical in every respect that they will be removed.0
