Was me who left the DVDs... I actually put them under some halloween stuff as it was a long haul back to dvd section...
I found one R&R in the store, 1.43 on the box of A4 pads.. Scanned at 1.97.
Bought 5, NO R&R GIVEN? Was there an hour waiting for managers etc but they just refused stating it's the wrong box. Have emailed Tesco...0 -
They are the worst CS I have ever dealt with. Although I see they have taken down the sign under the policy which said doesn't apply to special offers, and the staff seem new too.0

Hi i have just got back from The big tescos in leeds. This was my first R&R on some steak. There was a big yellow SEL with the price per Kg on at £10.28 instead of £12.87. So i had a luck and i found 2 packets still prices at £12.87. I paid for my shopping, left and walked back in. I told the CS and he said that it was not a over price and he would only offer my money back so after talking with him showing him the policy behind him he gets the duty manager. She comes and says i know what your doing your in here all the time doing this (Quite strange as that is the 2nd time i have actually been in that store) and i tell her this. So i show her where the packets where and she has a look for about 2 minutes and tells me she doesn’t see what i mean. I show her the price differences and she then says "well its not a over price" and i discus this with her and then she comes out and says "the expiry date of the meat is different to the other packets so it doesn’t count" so i ask her to ring CS head office and she tells me she will not do that. after about 5 minutes she finally gives me the phone number but refuses to ring it and then walks off. After talking the CS on the phone he aggress with me and talks to the manager. she them starts lying on the phone and says that it was down a complete different aisle to where the yellow SEL was. so the CS on the phone refuses to believe me any more. So i left very embarrassed and very unhappy at how i was spoke to.
I doubt i will try r&r'ing again after this :mad:0 -

You were really unlucky with cs and manager, but don't give up, it should make you more determined to catch them out.0 -
I thought I'd share a chastening experience I had yesterday - picked up some Finest Beef Olives (4 packs) as they were advertised at £8.99/kg - they ended up going through at £9.99/kg - oh, I've been overcharged. So off to Customer Services.
The CS girl went off to check, then came back with SEL and another CS guy - they didn't say a word apart from asking for my credit card. 'There you go Sir....£4 back on your card - we've given you the difference plus a bit more'!!!
I reminded them of their policy, but noticed they had amended their 'And If Things Don't Add Up' promise with 'At Stores Discretion' - which they pointed out to me.
I asked for the manager, who came and told me that R&R clearly only applied to non-food items! I asked him to read the price promise, and he then said that 'customer gets their money back' means that I should get the difference!
Eventually he backed down, and proceeded to take it out on his CS staff, who both looked really glum, whilst handed me over the rest of my full refund - not a word from either of them.
Keep the faith - onwards and upwards my friends......0 -
i went to get an iron today but they had put price up to £14.98
But get this, near the door there was about 10 manager looking peeps all talking in a circle, i was trying to eavesdrop while pretending to look at haloween stuff, it was deffo about r+r and checking prices. this was in holbeach in lincs store:rotfl::idea: £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006Make mine a Golden £143.46

But I didn't I just replied, "I definately did not" she also argued the toss on another one, but she had to give in.
I kept my cool, and graciously said, well I don't want the items now, if you are not going to honor your policy!
But thinking about it now, I think I may call Dundee. What do you think guys?
Definately phone Dundee!! If they get enough complaints about stroppy CS staff, they might actually put some kind of training plan in action to deal with this. Instead of customers feeling like they are having to walk the plank to approach their 'Customer Service' desks. I did it last week and had a good feeling of satisfaction about it.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
What did u manage in "there", sorry. Oh and i mean in the past too...0
