Deedee73, I would hold off the call for the time being, you wouldn't want one of those banning letters would you ?
Just put it down as another victory over Mr T, and you will win the war if not the battle.
Also wonder if people who have had banning letters have made contact with HO at some point ??? Just a thought ?0 -
yummymummy79 wrote:Just want to point out again that this whole thing is based on Tesco policy, and you can't force them (under anything legal) to give you money back etc.
I realise its obviously not the law for them to have such a policy but I thought that as soon as they advertise that they have the policy and outline a course of action that will have if you are overcharged, then it becomes legally binding. Surely otherwise shops could advertise anythingthen when pressed say, well actually we do that soemtimes - there is no law that says we must so were not going to - false advertising?0 -
I'll move this over to grabbit, where hopefully you'll get more response.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Get yerself back in there, roxi_chick! Just say you started to check all your receipt when you got back home and realised that you had also been overcharged for the books! May be an idea to firstly see if thereare other copies still on the shelves with the wrong stickers on, so then the CS bod will be able to see nothing dodgy is going on. Fact is, you were overcharged on the books and therefore you get them for free, simple as.
Right here i go guys wish me luck!Roxi xxSEPTEMBERAd Card total £72.49Quidco £77Pigsback 1140 points(Boots vouchers so far = £40)0 -

Been to my local this am, got numerous shopping inc 2 packs of fosters. sel 2 pack for £6. charged £6.30 at checout.
Called at cs on way out & stated I thought I had been over charged. CS man checked sel & yes you have been overcharged. Stood there 15 mins while he discussed this with another cs bod. In the end offered me the 60p Id been over charged. I pointed out their board saying if you been over charged etc, oh I will have to get someone else as I dont know why this has not come off correctly. Again another long wait, in the end I had money back & left.
Now what has made me REALLY MAD is the amount of people who have bought this item & HAVE been over charged but NOT noticed it. The shelves were nearly empty of it when I went in the other day.
So MR T will soon be well on his way to claiming back his money after the console fiasco.
As he says " Every little helps ":(

I don't lose too much sleep over r&r ing at Tescos. I now do 99% of my shopping with them online and instore, always end up adding to my trolley/basket when r&ring to make it look normal. So I figure its kind of evened out - they now make profit on my paid for shopping and I claw a small amount back through r&r. Just wish they'd regularly rotate their cs staff.0
