When he first started posting, McDonag's posts were considered fantasy by some given the volume of refunds he claimed to be recieving.
Troll is perhaps the wrong term, but a few posters certainly gave him a hard time. At least until the proof they requested was posted...;)
Yes ...Re phrase accepted.....I remember that, and he showed his receipts, which shut a few people up.
Is it catching...this editting lark.....lolCouponing....."every little hurts"

How do Tesco staff feel about the policy? Its one thing a feelgood factor when someone questions an overcharge but a completely different thing when people are just taking the p1ss and just looking for them and getting multiples of expensive items.
I used to have quite a few friends working at Tesco but they have all moved on.
People on here report that CS often try to just give them the difference, why do they do that if their bonuses are not affected?0 -

I suspect so. Some on here take offence when it is suggested that they are doing anything wrong "just looking for them and getting multiples of expensive items".Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Oops, sorry I deleted the message as it looked like no one was answering.
I was just interested thats all.
I didn't mean to offend anyone.
I hardly ever shop at Tesco so all this doesn't really affect me but this thread is just fascinating.0 -

But what I did see was another guy getting so many duplicate items R&R'd it was obvious to myself (the rowenta iron confirmed an MSE reader)that it wasn't by chance. After he left the CS girl called the security guy over and asked him if he had clocked the guys face and if so remember him.
It's great that he has managed to get so much this time but it was way over the top and has probably ruined it for himself in the future.
If your one of the guys on here who was in a bucks tesco at about 8pm be warned as they clocked you!!
Missed the iron though - really wanted one for MIL and now sel has been removed.
I see it as a public service that Tesco pay me to do, and something that people with failing eyesight like my mum benefit from because the pricing is more accurate. There's no way I would play 'victim' in this situation and if Tesco choose to turn on me for pointing out misprices and try and ban me then I say 'bring it on'. I will look forward to making their lives a misery via the radio and press and leaflets and placards - whatever it takes.
Thanks for the tipoff though - and if it just means being followed around by my own personal security guard next time - then that would be just hilarious!
p.s. What's 'banana' when it's at home?
If you want to PM me and if in the meantime we don't manage to find a good home for it - I don't mind letting you have the iron. Don't reply via this thread though! There's no way that I can keep up with it and it was by complete chance that I happened to log on and have a quick browse at the right spot in the thread. This too, shall pass.0 -

Apology accepted........A lot of us take exception to these type of comments....I am just in it for what I can get for me and my family....never denied it, never tried to hide it.
However there are some on here who really want to bring Tescos to justice.
They overcharge possibly thousands of people a week, without these people knowing......and then brag about billion pound profits.
We are doing the country a service, and some of us are making a bit out of it as well.......(which is my goal).....Couponing....."every little hurts"

Like I said before, I find all of this fascinating.
Some people really do seem to hate Tesco with a passion. I just wonder why thats all.
Others just want a few freebies, fair enough.
I'm not judging anyone so I apologise if my earlier posts seemed to suggest I was.
I'm not a troll, I'm not here to get into slanging matches with people, thats not my thing. I'm on this site to help me save some money like most people on here.:)0
