I dont think mcdonag would be too thrilled with that comparison.....and I cant ever remember mcdonag being labelled a troll......or claiming RandR is a scamCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Basically if i bought a game that i would like to have changed if it was a game unliked by the recipient, WAAAH, then it would be allowed. Now that i received an R&R because i was overcharged am i now unable to exchange it as i already have refund tagged to my receipt....
Seems my rights are slightly affected (i don't want another refund, just an exchange for a similar item)
Any1 tried a marked receipt exchange?
Your rights are not affected as you are not legally entitled to a refund or exchange on non-faulty goods.
Others have replied to you from the first time you posted - you could try their suggestion and try without a reciept if you feel uncomfortable with your marked one.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Normally they say no, but statutory rights say yes, it just depends if the CS person if in a good mood or not. If the game is new and sealed then your chances are better than if it has been opened opened games wont be refundedat all but replaced if they are faulty. I have swapped stuff in the past GBA games for a PSP game without a recipt but the games had tesco price stickers on them so it indicated they were bought in Tesco and paid the difference. Young CS staff are more likely to give you the swap then older ones was the way I found it.
But CS staff seem to be happy to help at the moment r+ring without much difficulty or argueing.0 -

What I don't understand is why they have this policy. How comes they don't do an Asda and give a £2 giftcard or something. If its for a higher priced item like electricals etc, they could give £10 for example. It just seems ridiculous to me to give away such high value items.
Does it not affect each store managers bonuses?0 -

Its 'cos Tesco is better than AsdaKeep your £2 (if you can drag it out of them) - have the whole thing free!
And no, it does not affect SM bonuses except in the very broadest sense.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Was this in writing.......as I searched the thread before I gave my answer and found no incidences of the word "troll" in posts by mcdonag, and only 2 incidences of "scam" and those when replying to posts.
If he had been labelled a troll, one would imagine he would have replied and the word would be included in the OP's post..............unless you can show me otherwise.Couponing....."every little hurts"

OK, let me re-phrase.
When he first started posting, McDonag's posts were considered fantasy by some given the volume of refunds he claimed to be recieving.
Troll is perhaps the wrong term, but a few posters certainly gave him a hard time. At least until the proof they requested was posted...;)Who or what was I before you came in to my life

OK maybe not twins, but MD might be a clone of McD.
Anyway, to keep on topic. Today got a
Gillette Fusion gift set SEL £9.99, charged £14.99
Apparantly their is a powered (battery operated) version and a normal version. The packets look almost identical but some dork had put the powered ones in the non powered display.
Full RnR at Irlam, Manchester.
There was also a Digilogic TV/DVD combo with 2 SELs (£69.50 and £69.47) but I could not find a scanner after 10 minutes walking round with it. My arms were aching so I left it in the beer section.0
