If you are banned is it just from that store or all Tescos. Think my profile is bit high at the moment

CS just took my clubcard number off my reciept. So now they know who I really am. :( I don't want to get banned I'm addicted!!!

I doubt you'll get a ban for the odd RandR....but dont use your clubcard again......

    and to answer ella2002 above

Depends on what you are told......It could be that one store, or it could be an area ban, or you could get the letter giving you a nationwide ban...........but we are now hearing of bans being lifted, as they say "it isnt their policy to ban people for claiming refunds".....Thers no one answer to your question.

I know of a person who has all 3 above....but still gets RandRs in stores only 5 miles from the local stores that banned him.

As long as you dont used a credit card and more importantly your Tesco Club Card......then who is to know....as the passing of your details/photo's around to other stores without you having committed a crime is against the Data Protection Act.

Tesco's have no right(in law) to demand your details when you get an RandR, so I would imagine that you have no right(in law) to give them the correct details. It isn't against the law to give false information in this respect.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Nationwide bans aren't worth the paper they are (sometimes) written on and if Tesco don't know this they are even more cerebrally challenged than I at first thought. Cash is king.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

Wouldnt call it the odd R&R gotta be getting on for a grands worth of stuff :o

Do you think it would be ok to use a temperory card and then register it just before they issue the clubcard vouchers?? I want the clubcard points too :D

If that "grand" is all in one store and the area you come from is correct in your avatar....then yes they are probably on to you.

Some of us have been losing points from our clubcards for over a month now....I posted yesterday about this....Tesco are catching onto the clubcard issue, and will possibly start deducting all refund purchase points in the very near future.....(They won't actually do it....they'll get a piece of software to do it)

I would guess....that all of us who have been "caught"(take that loosely) in one way or another can possibly put it down to a Club Card.......

It's an identity card.....Big Bother Tesco IS watching you..........so whether you have a temporary card or not(and update it to your proper card later)....you are risking your RandR future.....all for an extra 4% max..........

You are also risking your whole Clubcard balance......as it's their card...they can withdraw it from you at any time..........then you have the difficulties in trying to get even, your legally gained points back

  • Is December a good month for r/r as christmas is coming fast:confused:
    Long Live Rock And Roll
  • Can one exchange an item if he receives an r&r and they remember to mark the receipt?
Basically if i bought a game that i would like to have changed if it was a game unliked by the recipient, WAAAH, then it would be allowed. Now that i received an R&R because i was overcharged am i now unable to exchange it as i already have refund tagged to my receipt....
Seems my rights are slightly affected (i don't want another refund, just an exchange for a similar item)

    Any1 tried a marked receipt exchange? :o

Ok for anyone in Swindson...forget it!!!

I went to 6 stores today.

    Ocotal way extra
    Shaw express
    Liden express
    Abbeymeads express
    Wooton bassett express
    Highworth express

ALL OF THEM HAS NOT 1 MISPRICE!!!

I am very upset (LOL) and in abbey meads there was a guy in plain clothes with a neck ID on, directing staff on which stock to remove and reprice. He is obviously a auditor or manager, but he looked in a foul mood, and seemed to look right through why I was in his store.

Another store (shaw) also has their scanners out.

Seriously wasted day and petrol! Im resiginig me thinks, Swindon is just "TOO" on the ball!
