Complain to your wife. It still surprises me that when people totally mess something up all by themselves they're still looking for somebody else to blame.

Thanks for your help Bucky not a question of Blame more a question of assistance with a piece of kit that people could well find hard to fathom. I'll try to post such queries later in the day in future on the off chance I can miss the 'got out of bed on the wrong siders'.

Went to my local Tescos last night, on the way in found a spit for 100 points when you buy Tescos finest prepacked pork or beef. Whilst browsing noticed they had Tescos finest beef olives on offer, large white sticker saying £8.99 kilo instead of £9.99 kilo. As we are having friends to dinner on Sat thought I would buy using 100 point spit etc. Picked up 5 packets. Also bought Tescos free range Turkey steaks should have been £7.19 per kilo big yellow sticker pack said £8.99 per kilo. Bought 4 packets. Did leave a couple of both items on the shelf.
Went to C/S with some fear, 2 customers in front of me. Both extremley rude and extremley difficult, treated the staff like dirt. I approached all inocent acted a bit vauge and was really polite, the girl from c/s asked me to come with her to show her stickers. We then went back to C/S and checked prices. Yes she said you have definatly been ovecharged. Give me your card and I will refund the total price paid. Then she asked if I had another debit/credit card/or any cash. Told me to buy rest of meat 7 packs in all. Pay in cash and she would refund. After reading this forum I was gobsmacked. She told me that she had refunded money on both products twice and that if they could not be bothered then why should she.
Needless to say I could not get out of the store quick enough 16 packets of very expensive meat, for free.
    Total £59.19
I am not going to name the store as I know technically speaking the second lot of meat was fraud/stealing and all that. Still how many times must I have been ovecharged and not realised
Thanks to everyone on this forum.

You are right, it possibly is some type of fraud, possibly on the CS behalf, but its a nice change from "stroppy" CS staff, although having said that, theyve all been a lot more amicable of late........but not this amicable......Well done.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Well done Gettin Me Own Back! Lucky you found a nice CSA - some of them try to wriggle out of these! Most of us don't use a clubcard for R&Rs as Tesco can identify you and will send you a letter if you find too many - don't worry about one though!

Keep up the good work and let us know if you find any other misprices! ;)

I had one give me an extra carton of soup last week, it was because the other woman had said I had picked up one that wasnt on the offer (wonder why) so she said to go and get one that was on the offer, I came back with another one but still kicked up to the CS manager because I thought the sign was misleading, ended up getting the R&R and the CS lady who dealt with me to start with just put all three in my bag and said I deserved the extra one because I had been waiting so long. Nice eh?

They banned me two days later.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

I know a professional photographer who did something similar at Asda, couldn't work out how to use the machine and in the end they were all cropped and poor quality.

They actually gave him another set for free which was above and beyond.

You could always take your OH's pix to the Tate and call them abstract experimental interpixelated art:confused: or just put it down to experience.

Not sure why this is on the misprice thread though as it's more of a techie querry.

Havent seen any Xbox game misprices either, does make you wonder how they can get it right with them but muck all the others up?
Its proberbly down to the fact hat the xbox games have never been on offer that I know of over the last 11 months since the consoles release, they are still hot and very few places have reduced prices on new xbox 360 games so they dont reduce them. The accessories have been reduced or prices changed and the made a balls up quick charge packs I remember SEL £14 .xx charged £19.xx? somthing like that.

Off topic I know but you are the guys who would be able to answer this I think. The wife had some photos developed at Mr T's yesterday and had no idea how to use the machine. Result being she paid for 150 prints of which 100 where totally useless (no heads, out of focus etc). Does anyone know who I can complain to. She found it impossible to get any assistance as they were so busy.

There are many reasons for the removal of heads, most digital cameras take photos designed to print at 6x4.5 where normal film cameras print at 6x4 if youe wife selected 6x4 they will be cropped and part of the photo will be removed, some times you get the option of what to cut off sometime they just centre so she possible made a few mistakes there.
out of focus is just a crap photographer no printer can cause that, unfortunatly as she was printing so many photos she proberbly didnt make use of the preview of each photo as it can be time consumeing so didnt catch the shots that were out of focus. The other thing would be to read the manual of the camera if its a compact as whoever needs to learn how the autofocus works, mine you press halfway, wait for focus and then press all the way down to take the photo.

As long as no one has deleted the contents of the camera you should be able to get the photos printed again.

as for paying for 100 crap shots the world of digital should have stopped that with the preview options available. I have shot rolls of film in the past and they have been not quite perfect.:o plug the camera in to a pc and view the photos before printing them is the best tip.

I have had small things given to me in the past, where they can't get them to scan and can't be bothered to type the numbers in. If you got done by security either them or I would get told off though.

Some staff has also been giving out stupid amounts of sport vouchers, usually when I use self scan. I got a whole book (at least 100 vouchers) when I got an XBOX 360. I got 17 for a £50 spend aswell. I guess everyone forgets to get them from the self scan tills as you have to ask at the end for them, so they will still easily be within what they are aloud to give out based on the tills takings.

My nursery will wonder where all the vouchers have come from this year!!
