Just got back a bit annoyed as I picked the wrong till operator.

I had picked up 4 Roald Dahl books - each stickered at £3.97, when most of the rest were at £4.97, so was pretty sure from discussion here that they were a misprice - but the eagle eyed till operator spotted the error going through and corrected the prices as she went!

I did manage to work out that the ones that are misprices are the Roals Dahl titles that have an rrp of £5.99 on the back and £3.97 stickers. There are two titles (Fantastic Mr Fox and one other at least) that have an rrp of £4.99 the correct sticker price of £3.97.

I will try again at another store or this one on another day!

In my tescos there are stickers on books but no SEL would i just scan the books i want to see if it scans higher?
Dvds no stickers on them but have a SEL again do i scan the dvd that i want hoping that its lower than the SEL
I have never found meat mis-priced i think my tescos are on the ball lol
    sorry for the questions
    Thanks

Look through the books and you might find that they have different prices for the same book!!!! orthat similar books are priced differently.

I always thought my local was on the ball and then suddenly they've started to slip, always pays to check:beer:

quick one, what are beef olives???

Where I live beef olives consist of very thin pieces of steak wrapped round either sausagemeat or oatmeal stuffing and are served with gravy. Presumably called this because they resemble a stuffed olive but don't quote me on that!!!!

Are some stores better than others at checking prices? I have checked several of the items on here and they are all priced correctly at my local store. What have other people found?

Are you sure it was your clubcard number? They always scribble down a number, but on closer inspection yesterday, it was the long number at the bottom of my receipt!

I think I'm addicted to this place! Since I found this forum I've spent so much time here or in Mr T's I don't think I've picked up a book I wasn't R&Ring! I'll need to change my username soon! :rotfl:

Some stores are definitely better than others. If your local one is on the ball, look out for national pricing errors there, like the multisaves not working.

Extras have more stock lines and often more than one place with the same promotion, so there is more for them to check and therefore more mistakes are made.

    HTH :D
