had to add it this way won't let me edit:

edit: as my local store has 2 x 4pack fosters £6.30 on a bigger clip on lable but still has the 2 x pack fosters for £6.00 yellow SEL underneath but expired 10/10/06

    Regards

    Megazoid

You would rather pay the cheaper price right:rolleyes:

Tesco shouldn't have 2 prices displayed....not your problem;)

To add to this, if you buy the two packs of fosters, you should be charged the lowest advertised price (2 for £6), as they still have the POS up for that offer. They can argue all they like about the other POS, however, legally, they must charge the lower of the two prices when more than one price is given. That means they'll overcharge you, as it will go through at 2 for £6.30 multibuy. You should then get a full refund for the products in question and keep the gnat's !!!! beer for free.

I'm happy, as Asda gave me free peas, my money back and an extra 66p on top today. They paid me to have the peas! ;)

(Birds Eye peas SEL says £1.34, charged £1.49. Asda policy is refund the difference and a £2 gift card on top.)

Ok for anyone in Swindson...forget it!!!

I went to 6 stores today.

    Ocotal way extra
    Shaw express
    Liden express
    Abbeymeads express
    Wooton bassett express
    Highworth express

ALL OF THEM HAS NOT 1 MISPRICE!!!

I am very upset (LOL) and in abbey meads there was a guy in plain clothes with a neck ID on, directing staff on which stock to remove and reprice. He is obviously a auditor or manager, but he looked in a foul mood, and seemed to look right through why I was in his store.

Another store (shaw) also has their scanners out.

Seriously wasted day and petrol! Im resiginig me thinks, Swindon is just "TOO" on the ball!
i was at the swindon extra today and got an r&r of £46.00, i had 2 0f the driver kits, 2 of the filofax and 4 packs of aberdeen angus burgers, sorry if i beat you to it

Although this is tried in many stores it is not correct. If a label is showing a higher price than is charged or showing an offer that does not work then the customer is overcharged and a refund should be given. No argument to be had here, accidental or not, it is a misprice.

Spa I had this discussion with a senior member of CS on the 0800 number about a high priced item I had bought that had an expired SEL thus overcharged, I was refused a R&R because they said the offer had expired and I should read the expiry on the SELS??

Thats complete nonsense and I'm sure trading standards would be interested that they are still displaying out of date sels.

At Sainsburys the majority of the price changes were done on a Saturday night/Sunday morning so before the store opened at 10am all the changes had to be done or at least the old SELs removed. Trading standards came one Sunday morning and watched us going through the list of all the price changes to ensure we were doing it.
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

I cant really answer for the helpline, i can only give across a point of view of a store. I would catagorically say that in my personal opinion, if an expired label is left out showing a price that is lower that the one actually charged then an overcharge has occured and we all know the policy on overcharges.

Ouch, you must have had some serious issues if trading standards came on a sunday morning to watch you make your price changes!!

Part of the Furniture 100 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
One year's free travel insurance also...I mean if you have cancelled it aren't they just returning what you paid...Or is this a double refund?Sorry if I misread it.

My situation will be no travel insurance and a £120.99 refund on a giftcard.
Will use the refund to get a far cheaper insrance elsewhere at a time we need it.
