Got 2 pairs of the black combat trousers today size 8/9 with a £12 tag on, scan at £13. Does anyone know if I have to return them to the same store that I bought them from as I got another pair and got an Refund yesterday.
I have never left a store before getting the actual RandR, so my answer would be to take them back to the store where you got them from.
Remember, you arent doing anything wrong, Try and go in at a different time if you are worried, there may be a different CS on.
If youve pointed this out to them once, and they havent acted, its them thats in the wrong...not you.
I would imagine another store would take them back and give you RandR,(as they do for normal refunds) but might ask questions, be prepared to answer these and you should be okCouponing....."every little hurts"

Things certainly have gone quiet over the last week. Think it after the highs of the console fun!! Something is just round the corner waiting for us!!
So come on, who is meaning to get refunds on stuff and doing it on purpose. he he. Think you will find it hard to find anyone on here doing that. As for making a living out of it, bloody hell I know we have some good weeks but i dont think my mortgage company would be happy!!
Are you currently employed sir? Well sort of!1
Job? Tesco's price inspector!!
Wage? Hmm some weeks alot, more than you in a month, others pretty poor!!!We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
I'd say the lull is down to a combination of things, hat's off to Tesco they've kicked resolution up a gear or two, with the odd exception they are correcting misprices faster, also a good few have probably been frightened into hiding as paranioa crept in following the letters also people are meeting less resistance when seeking r&r which is obviously keeping things quieter on here as people scurry around the motorways like the beetles on the surface of a pond in search of their bargains. And of course less promo's before the Christmas nutty period!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

And dont forget the 10% off mobiles finishes at the end of the month so I'm sure that will be interesting!!We took on Mr T and we won:D

N'ah, everyone's still playing Just Cause on their shiny xBox, too busy to go shopping!
Oh, and congrats, Ben, for a newborn you are a hell of good writer!0 -

Noticed tonight that they are offering new Da Vinci Code DVD for £9.?? if you spend over £30 instead of £14.94. Does anyone know if your total has to be after BOGOF's or can it be before???
I would suggest trying at a self scan, the total spend health and beauty vouchers work with bogofs so I would imagine this might. Like I said either try self scan or a dim sa.0 -
The_Old_Bag wrote:Can I just ask you your take on the price labelled packaging which doesn't agree with the price charged.
I posted the multi-pack coloured dividers WEEKS ago - about £1.x6 on the cardboard packaging the dividers came in, £1.x7 charged.
Posters are still getting these R&Rd week after week. I have seen the box price inked out/torn off/box turned round. Why does Tesco not alter (ie reduce) the price the till charges by 1p - then we could not get an R&R, the staff would not have to phaff about trying to remove the lower prices on display etc.
Presumably when the packaging was ordered Tesco planned to sel them at the lower price - why increase it by 1p and have all this resulting extra work for store staff, and R&R's for us ?
This is just one example recently of this practice - the driver starter kit and stacks of other stationery are similarly out by 1p - madness
I can help with this one. The stationery misprices area hang-over from the "back to school" event. When back to school is running there is a whole aisle of stationery etc on promotion. These pre-priced packs are from that event. Also they reduce the price of some goods for this event, hence the cheaper price (yes the dividers went down by a penny, crazy but they did!). Now the event finishes and the prices go back up (automatically), yet stores and depots are left with lots of "event" stock that are still in the promotional packaging.
I agree, it would be easier for Tesco to reduce the price by a penny, but chances are the buyers at head office aren't even aware of the issue. Its not too hard for stores to deal with, any member of staff who sees the packaging and SEL don't match should check it and rectify by removing offending price.
The Driving starter pack is slightly different as it comes under books. Books, CDs, DVDs, Games etc come from an outside supplier who sticker the stock themselves. This is generally what leads to the problems with entertainment items. Either supplier incorrectly stickers or not enough communication between supplier/Tesco. New supplier coming online early next year, more control for Tesco *maybe* entertainment will improve.0 -

Aw, no fair, I think we should start a petition to keep the current supplier.0
