I don't mind too much being subject to any 'dissing' - the Dude has broad and mellow shoulders.
I've read my recent posts and I agree that to someone who doesn't 'know' me - that it could seem that I'm anti-R&R.
The opposite is true - I believe in it - I do it - 'each to their own' is my firm belief.
I just appreciate the heads-up on the mis-price forum that I try my best to give you Dudes helpful advice - even if it's not what you want to hear...
I'm risking blowing my own trumpet but I've - in pure mis-prices - given you in the past........24 Season 4 on DVD.........DVDs that were brand new in the charts such as Batman Begins...........same for CDs such as Shayne Ward........I could go on.
And I like to think that I've helped many Dudes with R&R tactics and so on.
Hey ho - I'm here for the duration

I think everyone appreciates your posts, I certainly do !!, posting our misprices on here for others is what the thread is all about !. I jjust have a different attitude to letting CS staff get away with not abiding by their own policy.

The Dude is a legend. That is all....I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Brought this over from the ethics thread after reading comments about Sir Terry's "All fair in business" statement and reading of more RandRers getting letters, asking them to introduce themselves on entering stores.

Yes, I see your point, I didnt mean to echo Sir Terry's statements to qualify any dishonesty in RandRing....so I apologise if this was anyone's understanding of my statement.
I dont condone, (or have ever done) anything illegal during my RandRing or to aid my RandRing.
I have however been guilty of premeditated RandRing,
Been guilty of moving one box of beer along the shelf so a second differing price could be seen more easily.
Been guilty of returning goods for a refund after been given an RandR (under the 28 day rule).(Tesco get their goods back...I get the cash.)
Been guilty of giving false names and address on various occassions.
Been guilty of re entering stores after being verbally banned from them.
Been guilty of not introducing myself to managers when entering their stores, after being told i must.
Been guilty of big RandRs in stores where I didnt ask permission to enter, after being told I would be refused the RandR.
And apart from all those non dishonest examples.....Ive done nothing wrong.
Although Ive been accused of a lot of things.....but every accusation has been fully debated to show my innocence.
It may be oportunist, it may be exploitation....but it certainly isnt criminal.
I am a totally honest RandRer......like 99% of the people I talk to or read about on MSE.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Quick question - how are prices for Tesco loaded into the till software?
I ask because I posted the BBQ Doritos discount (2 for £2) not working, yet for someone else in another store, the offer comes off so no R&R.
I know Tesco Extra have different (higher) prices for some products so there has to be some differentiation between stores.0 -

You'll probably Refund & Replace me !!!0 -
When you return an item for refund under the 28 day policy, does it have to be to the same store ?0

Never mind, the good thing about this r&r lark is that the next big ticket item is just around the corner, in the meantime enjoy your beer and go get the iron for your wife/girlfriend/boyfreind.0
