But I self scanned a few groceries (under £ 20 worth) & two mobiles. The second mobile came up £20 under, so it seems the first mobile triggered the discount on the second. Maybe only with self scan though.0 -
How do you know your going to get charged the wrong price at the till.
If it says £115 on the shelf and it rings up £115 on the till, aren't you stuck with a purchase you don't realy want?
Tempted to go check out the 80gig drive but with my luck I'll get it at the correct price0 -
Has anyone noticed how fast the CSA walks towards that wrong SEL?
I got some more chocky, the cadburys bubbly, the other day and I was doing a quick jog to try and catch up with her.
We could do done with her in the olympics!
Does it ever annoy anyone when you go back to the wrong SEL and they just leave it on? I am always in two minds whether to take the SEL off myself incase someone genuinely gets over charged,or leave it incase someone else knows the R+R policy.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
You can always take things back within 28 days. Has anyone got a refund on a non crossesd reciept at a different store ? My reciept is totally intact for a phone ? They didn't write refund or anything ?0

W1zz it is knowledge you read the threads and it tells you the tell tale signs of an over charge.
If it scans as per the shelf then you ask them to remove it which is easy for high value goods just forget your card and pay for the rest with cash. change your mind and ask for it to be removed. Pay for it and keep it if it is somthing you wanted anyway. Pay for it and get a refund at CS.
Im off to try and find a new TV, oakley33 was it an extra or a normal store some TV's are only in etra stores like the sony last week?0 -
Right, i've been studying this thread over the last few weeks and even wandered into tesco with a few of the misprices in mind...but just felt v dodgy! I looked at the DAB radio someone had mentioned but the SEL had gone and i looked at meat. One of the labels was 1p over per kg that was stated on the SEL but i didn't have the guts to do it. i really want to do this Tesco thing but just don't get how you know the price it's gonna go through at or how you find misprices. The scanner was not working and the self scan doen't let me price check???
HELP me lose my tesco R+R virginity!0 -

It does have a barcode on it though which they will likely scan and see that you've had a refund. Don't know for sure but wouldn't risk it myself.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -

Anyone noticed when you check on-line on tesco's CS page, it says something along the lines of 'if a special offer product is out of stock we'll give you a voucher to use the next time you're in store'
does this mean you pay the equivalent of the product? ie) if there's a BOGOF on lemonade, do you give the CS person the 50p it would've cost you to purchase the offer, or do they just GIVE you a voucher out of the goodness of their hearts?0
