Tesco misprice discussion area part 12

Read this thread from start to finish yesterday. Got a free Sony K750i last night. CS were gobsmacked ! Said they'd done it with bread and chicken but not phones. Still had the 10% off price on the sel. Took some talking, usual refund the difference nonsense but got it in the end. 129 pounds phone in my pocket !

Shoperholicnot, I am heavily pregnant (4 days to my due date) and the response is very variable. Mostly people smile glowingly at me and seem to feel I deserve the break Whereas... sometimes staff are downright awful (but I think they'd be like that anyway) and then I just feel sorry for them - and maybe it's them who deserve the break! I can only talk about coupon usage though (still haven't managed a proper R&R )

My 1st R and R last night after reading this. Sony Ericsson K750i 129 quid. SEL 116. CS said they'd never done an R and R with kind of money before. She didn't even know what the policy stood for ! Took some doing though. Very scary.

It would be really helpful if people could put which stores they get these from.

Ive not had a R+R for months now.

Been all round the North West recently and not found any misprices.

Got the urge to get a R+R now !!! LOL

I don't think you can really expect people to do that, tho' I know that some do - it identifies the area or store(s) they are 'working' and may jeopardise their own chances in the future. It's really up to you to go & find the misprices that are highlighted on here in your own area. In my area some stores are quite lax but the one big Extra which sells the whole range of high value stuff is very on the ball - the only misprices I've ever seen are where the price has dropped to less than the expired 'offer'. It could also encourage people to drive fairly long distances only to find the error has been corrected by the time they get there - not cost effective at all.

I do get the feeling tho' that Mr. T is tightening up on misprices. A few weeks back and there seemed plenty but this week not many, just a few really low value ones which personally I can't be bothered with. My reason for that is that the fewer times I'm seen at C.S. the better and to raise my profile for the sake of £1 or two seems a bit silly.

Reeves painting by numbers,as previous tip. The front two boxes had had the reduced stickers ripped off, but the two behind had not. I just did a bit of rearranging of the shelf for them.
