just out of curiosity aren't tescos guilty of misselling on 2 counts?
one on over pricing and
second on refusing an r and r and offering the difference instead?
just a thought0 -

Not really I think.
r and r is not a legal requirement, displaying a correct price is.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
i'm not saying r and r is a legar requirement but if you have a policy then by law shouldn't you have to follow it0

Preferably. Honouring your advertised policies has always made the most sense to meWho or what was I before you came in to my life

(That wasn't a dig at you by the way, Conny, and I bow to your knowledge/research on the stuff about recordings).
Be that as it may, just because they may have broken any number of laws doesn't mean you can. When the children are arguing I point out '2 wrongs don't make a right':p
I would think it best to do things by the book when dealing with Tesco's and then they have no comeback on you.0 -

If you buy more than one you may find the first phone triggers a £20 discount on the second phone as per current offer " spend £40 get £20 off a phone".
This may make the second phone under priced so no R&R !0 -

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I thought that the £40 had to be spent on non phone items? Also I think you have to find a till operator who forgets to manually take the discount off to get and R&R on this, which is probably unlikely IME.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Even old CS witches go all soft over disability.
All's fair in love and war ;-)
Not exactly the same is it0 -
Got my first R&R last night, CS was very pleasant. I acted all surprised when she offered me the goods and the refund, and thanked her generously.
She gave me a lovely glowing smile as I walk off, as though she had done her job well, as I had mine!!!
I was still in my work clothes last night, so was suited and booted, I wonder if clothing has a significant difference when claiming r&r's. Sales is the name of the game if you look professional are you less likely to be challenged by the CS. As this is only my first and it was for only £30, I am only at the beginning of a lovely trip courtesy of mr T, so would bow to more exerienced site members.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -
