Not sure why you're defending him, Constantine, considering the way he has referred to both you and Spa as "lesser" Tesco employees with little intelligence of the working practices of the company. As I've pointed out before, neither of you have dropped a clanger by posting information on a misprice that was not previously posted on the board. The attitude displayed by Amishi on this thread towards both customers and fellow employees is disgusting. It does nothing to improve Tesco's image. It's also a direct contrast to the way you and Spa conduct yourselves here.

Ladies & Gentlemen...it does not take a genius to work out who the name alias apply to on MSE. Let me personally thank Clasico (Clasics) for this information.

Someone on MSE has sent me a PM about something that he bought today. He hasn't posted it on MSE yet, as he wants to get it sorted out with HO first. However, I think it's safe enough to post it here. There was a pallet in the store with a couple of these beauties sited on it. There was a sign on the pallet saying "x". He went home to check the price online and saw it was £x Off he dashes back to the store and buys one. He's taking it up with HO. It's a regular poster on MSE, by the way. Anyway, keep an eye on the TVs. He's not going to post it on MSE at all now, as they would easily be able to ID him from the post.

He must be bulk-pm'ing as he's sent me one as well. Very interesting.

Wow, that's a biggie and just what this forum is for! Do we know what this looks like or any more info, was it an out-of-date SEL do you know?

Anyway, for those wondering, the link originally took you to website..and very nice it is, too!

OK, its definite R&R opportunity. I don't have the bottle to do it. The SEL was removed by the store and the bloke "thanked" me for saving them from a refund!
oh and last but not least....
29-10-2006, 2:40 PM Amishi Hmmmm....surely not a high value television perchance?
Sleep well. You're thanking the wrong person, do thank Clasics though :kisses3: after all, it was he who gave us the thumbs up to monitor those less than genuine customers who flocked to said TV and proceeded to do a LOT of checking. Thanks, we now have a lot of footage.
Very little helps0 -
It is best not to use your Clubcard for these purchases because every transaction can be tracked. When, where and what you buy and when and where and what you return. No probs if this is done with routine shopping, but the 'system' will flag up if you are a serial 'refunder'.
Your profile is of interest to Mr T for marketing so don't underestimate what can be known about you.
It is being discussed on the news this morning. We are being watched!!
I now find that I 'womble' (I think that is the correct term for finding unclaimed points on discarded receipts) as many points as I lose. I try not to claim on receipts that have been paid by CC though.
Perhaps someone in the know could tell me if it can be flagged up that it wasn't your CC. I feel a bit nervous about using those receipts.
Thanks to everyone who has started me along this road and my advice to any newbies is to read everything on this site over and over until it becomes second nature.
I really wish I'd checked my receipts before for overcharging.0 -

I think they can trace your personal details if you use your clubcard. (I don't use mine when RnR'ing). HTH0 -
I am genuinely convinced that my local store now police the misprice thread. I popped in on my way home to look for a couple of the 'new' misprices from yesterday (which should have had yellow SELs) and they were both showing white SELs, at the higher price. Therefore, no misprice and no R&R. Can they do this as I thought discounted products should be offered at that price even if there is a fault in the system??

I was still in my work clothes last night, so was suited and booted, I wonder if clothing has a significant difference when claiming r&r's.
I always find it pays to be dressed when I go to Tesco.
