If you are paying for very large items with cash, I think that looks more suss - who these days pays for high value stuff cash?? Plus, I wonder whether they can refuse on grounds on money laundering regs?? Many places now refuse to accept large amounts of cash for this reason.
  • Has anybody spotted any xmas food misprices? I'm organising some charity functions, so a few turkeys would be great! ;)

I am genuinely convinced that my local store now police the misprice thread. I popped in on my way home to look for a couple of the 'new' misprices from yesterday (which should have had yellow SELs) and they were both showing white SELs, at the higher price. Therefore, no misprice and no R&R. Can they do this as I thought discounted products should be offered at that price even if there is a fault in the system??

it could be someone is also R &R ing in your area and getting in before you.

Could be argued that this makes it easier for Tesco to correct it, but it's certainly more useful for the average R+R hunter.

I think most of us have had christmas type chocolate biscuit tins, so I guess that counts.
