xmas on tescos!!!
LOL!
I'm already on a mission for this one - only trouble is the OH keeps finding the chocolate and eating all the darned stuff (6 bars of Bubbly gone so far... )
I will need to look out for some mispriced bigger trousers for him at this rate!0 -
Had a classic today.
DS game Open Season ( I think) shelf at £24.97 scanned at £27.97. Tootle off to CS, lovely chap goes off to check price, comes back saying no it is £27.97 (couldn't originally go with him as baby was causing havoc plus never had problems before in that store) I offered to show him where it was so do so as it was in Game of The Week slot as well as its chart position (correctly priced) Lovely chap apologises and then proceeds to remove the correctly scanning price from the chart position and puts the lower price in its place thereby creating a future 'opportunity' for someone.
£70odd R&R-ed today. Made up for the hassle some old witch gave me last night over the Diet Coke. In the end she threw the difference in price across the counter telling me it wasn't that they were wrong it was just easier giving me the £1.38 to make me go away as I was being a pain and lying about what i'd bought. This was obviously after I'd already got a photocopy of the offer label 'Coke and Diet Coke 2 for £5' and obviously I still have my receipt with diet coke and diet coke on it with no discount applied. Was appalled at the way she spoke to me and mid conversation decided she'd had enough and walked off and started serving another customer. A letter is flying to Dundee regarding it as being called a liar and told to go away in front of a busy store when I was just trying to get the discount entitled to was not pleasant. Her golden words were 'if the computer doesn't give a discount then its not applicable and we can ignore the shelf labels as the computer is always right'. She also told me that customers are expected to know that the only things included in multibuy offers have the yellow labels and its not their job to make the signs state everything exactely but the customers fault to make sure the product they want is included by checking the colour of the label. I asked her where the Shoppers Manual that must be issued to everyone was to tell me this. Funnily enough she then glared at me and spat fire and brimstone.0 -

She gave me a lovely glowing smile as I walk off, as though she had done her job well, as I had mine!!!
I was still in my work clothes last night, so was suited and booted, I wonder if clothing has a significant difference when claiming r&r's. Sales is the name of the game if you look professional are you less likely to be challenged by the CS. As this is only my first and it was for only £30, I am only at the beginning of a lovely trip courtesy of mr T, so would bow to more exerienced site members.
Congratulations, no longer a virgin, be careful though as it gets addictive after a week or two
I have an addictive gene which is why I am already overweight, fortunately this addiction should do me no harm. Already hooked, and will be making my way there this evening for round two.I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -

Now DS desperate for a phone too and was wondering can I hold them to 10% off the retail pricebased on that advert, they are selling them with all other mobiles for £169.99 no special offer there??£900 towards next holiday...ta very much Mr T x0 -

Its much easier and much less space consuming just to "thank" the OP by pressing the button.......rather than "quoting" the long original OP everytime...
and a lot less annoying not to see the same post all the time........
This just isnt aimed at you pondsaver (and not aimed at georgiac at all)Couponing....."every little hurts"
