    From the Misprice Thread:
first ever r&r tonight nokia 6230i sel price 89.87, charged 99.97. full refund. cs even told me he had to give me phone for free

Can you tell me what network this is on? I've previously seen the 6230i on o2 at £89.97 and this is what I would like to get.

hi, same happened to me about champers I pointed out to head office they should have cctv of manager waving the display box about saying it should not have been put there as not on his shelf plan and must have been for some other product & even if for champers not legally binding as no details on box my complaint is on going with HO. did you keep the product?

no I got a refund as i didnt want to raise my profile too much. I must admit this store is VERY MUCH on the ball. Its the 1st time ive seen a wrong price. I no Im not that observant but I havent been able to find anything before.

Stockport Extra store was an Aladdins Cave tonight. I could have bagged half the meat aisle, but my freezer is literally jammed full of the stuff.

Bagged a microwave and a phone, CS tried the out of date SEL nonsense but backed down after about 10 mins argument.

Looks like the new get-out clause about out of date SELs has definitely originated at HO level and is now filtering down to individual stores. Trading standards are gonna love the conversation I recorded in the store tonight.
How did you manage to do that on private property without informing the owner of the property or the person you were recording?

    Kinda overkill don't you think

I always think it's good to keep a record of potential confrontation for personal use.

I transcribed an encounter with a CS Manager who accused me of putting an out of date SEL in place and various other potentially slanderous accusations.

When I wrote to his boss I said that I was quoting word for word and was in a position to recall the full 12 minutes verbatim.

The r&r was given very soon afterwards.

All you need to do is wear a badge which says (in VERY small letters) I reserve the right to record any conversations that take place with Tesco staff.:rotfl:

Only if the person being recorded is also wearing a badge saying they agree to the recording taking place ;)

    SEL and Poster said £34.98

    offer ended yesterday, scanned £44.98

    Full R&R
Saw this tonight with a white sel of £44.48 but didn't fancy lugging it to the scanner to check it. Anyone else scanned it at £44.98?
