All the offers on printers expired yesterday, I scanned the P350 and the X5470.

Shame- I never checked the rest though

What was the price that you were charged ? are you saying £14?

Are you saying you were undercharged?

  • On a R&R Hunt today, browsing the games section

Noticed in the PS2 section a SEL for a PSP game £32.97 (new SEL)
Went over to the PSP section, found the equivalent game with SEL £29.97 (old SEL)
    PSP game Scanned £32.97

    Point of this story:

It’s easy to get your P’s and 2’s mixed up if you work for Tesco!

Full R&R from nice CS lady as usual.
Spent more on a poppy than I normally would with the proceeds!

Surely there are signs in the store saying recording taking place.

How else can Tesco record me wandering around the store?

To be in the store, customer or staff, everyone must surely have agreed to recording.

If you don't agree to recording the only option is not to enter the building!

    No idea tbh.

My (personal) understanding is that a conversation (face to face or via telephone) may not be recorded without the express permission of those involved.

Quite happy to be corrected by someone with greater Google skills than mine ;)
Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure
  • Got 3 of the Champagne and Chocolates tonight - £60 Golden R&R (unmarked receipt).
Dumf@ckistan representative tried all evasion tactics:

    1. Product is displayed in wrong box (box says £18, SEL says £20).
I pointed out adjacent products in £15, £10 and £4 boxes all matching their SEL's............boxes seem correct don't you think !

    2. Refunded me £4, £2 for 2 of the products 'bulk buy' policy meant no refund of difference due on third product. Pointed out that logically any alleged 'bulk buy' policy should be/would be applied at the point of sale, not afterwards.
Therefore if Tesco's have agreed to sell me 3 of a product all 3 must be covered by Tesco's policy. Plus how did he explain Tesco encouraging customers to buy 6 bottles of Champagne by offering a 5% discount ?

    3. Then tried to give me £6 refund of difference, pointed out that when I had been overcharged previously I was given a full refund and I kept the product !
Dumbf@ckistan representative then unconditionally surrendered and gave me £60 refund.

Asked him whether what he had just done i.e. R&R was correct and still Tesco company policy to which he answered YES.

After being robbed by Tesco for many years through illegal overcharging the 'boot is now on the other foot', I will continue to R&R them at every opportunity, again and again and again.

A far as I am concerned the USA has been replaced by Tesco as the 'Great Satan' we all fight against.

NB: And of course there is no official Tesco HO or Store policy to offer customers just the difference on overcharges to try and get away with it.

as long as you had paid for the goods then the contract had been made, and its an R+R, just ask to speak to a manager, usually i find they dont want to come out of hiding and just tell CS to do the R+R, but that doesnt make you feel any better though.

I think so as any offending SEL will be long gone, Ive never been in this situation as yet, Ive been lucky and always got an R+R on what I tried for, not always straight forward. But always before I left the store.
