Well if you have the goods now you are in receipt of them, go back ask to speak to a manager and say that you were overcharged and his staff did not follow company policy.

If anyone at Tesco wants to start quoting the law at me, I'll be happy to meet up with them face to face and have a very long chat about a whole host of laws and the regularity with which they are broken by Tesco. I'm sure both parties could learn a great deal from the meeting.

(That wasn't a dig at you by the way, Conny, and I bow to your knowledge/research on the stuff about recordings).

Yes but you were overcharged to start with, go back and say that you would like them to follow their company's policy.

You could try and go for the R+R, what do you have to lose, you are going for a refund anyway, just pre plan your argument and get it clear in your head, be polite, calm and act dumb.

and tell them that you've phoned head office and they confirmed that that all overcharges should be refunded in full, and that you get to keep the product.

i got a full R&R today on a two day old receipt which I had settled on a refund , but was not given the product too, because of a determined and psychotic CS witch.
Go back to the store with the receipt and hopefully find a different member of staff! It worked for me

Game of the week posters are full of mistakes as always

PSP game of the week has label ‘Sims Pets’ but the picture for it is a bandicoot game, the price is for the bandicoot game,(more expensive) so potential R&R there if you play dumb act all confused.
Other GOTW posters the picture is correct to the label (Splinter Cell & 50 cent) so this could form part of your argument.

I didn’t bother tho as I already got a game R&R today. I may take a look at these games on Friday when the ‘new’ GOTW poster should be up. so I expect these games to be £2 more expensive as they will no longer be GOTW but will be advertised as such if last weeks poster remains.

Hi just stmbled on the r+r tesco thing that everyone is going on about.....what exactly is it and how do i get started........money is really tight at the moment and maybe this will help the budget along...........how do i find the overpriced goods in my local tescos....thanks in advance julie
