At the Lewisham branch today I didn't spot one single misprice!
What a wasted journey, well not totally, I used 2 £5 Oil of Olay vouchers (31st : Oct: last day today). They are selling day & night moisturiser for £4.99, so got one of each.

    Nice explanitory post...................................however....

Can you try to explain what to do when the manager is adamant that "Out of date" offers dont count, and HO backs him up....

    Will Consumer Direct then intervene......

The actual law has been talked about a lot previously, but as i say....What happens when you get the Manager who says "NO"...........Ive not yet heard of Trading Standards/Consumer Direct/ASA acting on anyones complaint, and the plaintiff getting his RandR................

    Just a thought

    Still nice post.

You could allways give Consumer Direct a call there and then and explain it to them and get them to speak to the manager for you, How many people have actually complained to TS & ASA, i would be reluctent to incase a full investigation caused the end of the R&R policy, as a little of something is better that nothing at all, as its allways nice to get free meat most the time lol.

Perhaps requesting written conformation of the laws that apply from TS would be of use that could be presented to difficult managers thus circumventing HO bull, thing is at what point do they get so anoyed that they ban you from the store as they have a right to do without the need for provind a reason, hell if it came to me being banned from all tesco stores i'd be finding out if any local papers would be interested in a local supermarket banning people for knowing their rights as a consumer. I belive the only way tescos can combat this is to kill the policy and offer something like other store say double the overcharge etc.

So what is the deal with the mobile phones?, is the £20 off discount not working on certain phones? or are all the r&r's based on the October 10% off promotion?.

Appreciate comments from anyone who can clarify

    Thanks

if you read back through the thread then you will find that there are very few people that can give you a difinitve and accurate answer and those that can won't.....

All prices are computerised, it all depends on when the computer updates...and that is the key question.

currently the promotion is working on all phones....providing the discount is applied correctly at store level.

I think that some refunds are based on out of date labels and others on incorrect discount application.
