Hi Guys, just been shopping & got 2 pkts of smoked haddock, 1 pkt of organic chicken drumsticks & 2 large chickens & the peach & apricot cereal bars.
Went to CS & showed her my meat but she said no i believe its got nothing to do with the kg weight & its the overall price. I said no & said i'll take you to the shelf to explain, so off we go to the chiller section.
I had to explain is all to her but she said she wanted to go & check with someone & to wait at the CS desk.
She was gone ages & finally came back about 10 mins later. Now this is just so funny...... she said that its got nothing to do with the weight & that they were getting onto head office about it. The funniest bit was when she told me that they had weighed my chicken :rotfl:
She said that it weighed more it was stated on the packaging but as a good will gesture that they will give it to me this time & that i won't get it again :rotfl:
I couldn't believe they went & weighed my chicken.
I said to her, thats not my problem, you can't expect me to go & weigh my meat. They do make me laugh these people :rotfl:“Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.”

Can someone please let me know if I need to return to the original shop where something was purchased to get an R&R price clearly marked on product and another price on receipt and how long have I got to get an R&R as that particular Tesco is not my local. Any advice most appreciated0

:DYou have one hour from the time of purchase and you must find exactly the till operator that served you in order to claim your r&R:D:D
Really though, it would be best to return to the original store although if it is really clear cut then most larger stores should do it. How long have you got? I wouldn't leave it too long would be the best advice!Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

had an r&r on 2 nigella lawson books & 3 packs of fire-lighters.
I must say the 2 cs Ive been to today were the most friendly i have ever seen. One even appologised & told me it was not my fault for picking up incorrectly priced items it was the store not doing its job properly!!!
Looked at the psp games 3 were labelled different from the sel. I didnt try as I didnt want those games. Someone picked one up & put it in their basket while I was there. I gingerly approached them & told the to check their receipt to make sure it went through at price stated. Then i told the about Mr T's refund policy - they had never heard of it. The couple went away hopefull but I never saw what the out come was.0 -
bagged 2 disney dvds on a stand saying bogof this offer ended yesterday

I'm sure someone will go off later and look up the legal implications of giving a false address to the TV license people

How would that go down with TV Licensing

Got my first R+R today. It was on the choc oranges 2 for 3quid. Thank you to whoever spotted those. I got terry tangy oranges 175g X 2. The bloke first tried giving me a pound back as it came up at 4 quid, so I soon sorted him out. Anyway my question is if a product has the SEL at a lower price than it scans through the till but it says on the SEL offer expires on a date that has passed, is it still eligable for R+R? e.g. it has a SEL of 12.99 reduced to 11.99 and it says the offer runs out on 31/10/06 and you buy it on 1/11/06 and it scans at 12.99 because the offer has expired, but the label is still up can you still claim a refund of 12.99 plus the goods.
Also if the £ per KG price differs on the SEL and the product label, but the actual price is still the same on both is it possible to claim a R+R?
