Out of interest, how is this funny?
The fact that you have no standards of behavior hardly reflects credit on you or anyone else who contributes to this thread. I don't see why you can't show a little bit of decency and return the product to its proper place. After all, leaving it where you did will only inconvenience other shoppers and make extra work for ordinary working people.

I have only been doing this R+Ring for 3 weeks now and have done quite well so far.
I suddenly realised yesterday that I have known that Tesco had this policy at least two years ago but I didnt even think about doing it this way. I used to play them on reduced items going out of date, before they started using barcoded yellow stickers. My local store would massively reduce meat etc going out of date and I would get ones which were on BOGOF, or buy two for xx. Quite often the discount would come off for the deal but it would be more than the two items cost put together as they were reduced to say 30p each but the discount may have actually taken off 1.50 it actually took money off your shop ( as long as there were others items scanned before them.)
I frequently got meat for free, and got money off the bill!
But soon enough they sorted that little loophole.
I have always checked my receipt after a shop and made sure the BOGOFs came off etc, having made a mental note of all of them and got the R+R as and when. But for the individual items, I could have been overcharged on everyone as far as I knew. I just didnt pay attention to the single items not on offer. But now I do obviously.0 -

They only had one pack on the shelf so could not try it out but am tempted to go back tomorrow.
According to the site below...the Bud promotion isnt on at the moment, but the Stella still is......so if the SEL allows you to buy one of each, you might be ok.....but cant promise................but if it doesnt work(if the discount comes off), just take it straight to CS, apologise and say you've picked up the wrong stuff.

I paid the £5.20 to subscribe, to be able to see the discounts over £1 listed as well.Couponing....."every little hurts"

I managed to find 2 DAB radios today, they had the £39.97 SEL but the display model had £34.97.
When I went to CS she couldn't have been more helpful, we went to the electrical department and I showed her the display SEL and she agreed that I had been overcharged. Then the supervisor came over and when the CS told him what had happened he said that there was no mistake as I had picked up a different model. I knew I hadn't as I had checked the SELs to cover any disagreements.
At this point I was ready for the CS to side with him and was preparing for an argument. But the CS checked the £39.97 SEL agreed that I had the right item and when the supervisor still insisted that I was not entitled to an R&R the CS went to the nearest phone and called for the Manager to come to the section.
The Manager agreed that the R&R was correct and apologised for the supervisors remarks. From the look that the manager gave the supervisor I would not have wanted to be in his shoes after I left.
So £79.97 R&Red with the help of CS. Also spotted some meat R&Rs so sending the OH in tomorrow to stock the freezer.:D0 -

Fixtureferrets is wrong on this one. The Tesco.com site lists Budweiser as on offer at 2 for £10.00 until 07/11/06 and I'm 99% sure I've seen up to date big yellow SELs in store which include both Stella and Bud.
