spa2k wrote:Postman,
What is interesting postman is that you, along with many others, have not complained about being undercharged (or at least not on here)....i wonder why that is....
You make a very valid point, of course. However, your post made me think about the whole under-charging scenario more, and I have realised that the fairly suspicious fact is that IME (and that means a whole 'family shop' with Tesco every week, split over several days) and checking of receipt with a fine tooth comb and all that, undercharges seem to be incredibly rare. Although I have frequently found overcharges on stuff I hadn't planned to. Any ideas why that would be?
Edit: Answering my own post; maybe it's because us shoppers don't complain when we get one, so the SEL doesn't get removed. Which begs the question; what do PID do?

Maybe if you give birth in store they might give you a years free supply of nappies, I heard this happened once in another highstreet store but cant remember which. It may have been mothercare.
With a 6 month old im waiting for an error involving pampers:D0 -
perhaps thats what ill do from now on, ill go armed with a friend and a notebook!!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
HI, this sounds a silly question but being a fairly new r n r'er (got smaller stuff) how would you know the price of the tv as there is only a price on the SEL & you cant really scan a box other than taking a risk on it going through at a different price. Any ideas or advise on how people have done this would be welcomed.....just interested
Thanks0 -

I would class you as the archetypical Tesco shopper (no offence intended, btw!). Look at it this way - based on the Irish Govts findings in 1999, shoppers like yourself are contributing 50% of tesco's amazing profits (allegedly!). surely that point makes you want to get that receipt out and CHECK IT?I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
yep

Then as im leaving, i scan through my shopping and find the overcharges, ubless of course i already know which ones might be an o/c, then im ready for the war at cs desk:rotfl::idea: £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006
