It had been reported as not working, so i posted a working one about 10 posts afterwards, but as I said.......its repaired now for the next viewer.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Just to say, the only stock of these they had in Dorchester today was the peach & apricot variety. The discount did kick in for these, so no R&R.

What a pathetic small pen1sed little racist !!!!!! you are....
How on earth can this be so completely misconstrued as racism.
The OP was merely pointing out that it is incompetent British workers at fault for costing their employers thousands.
He was then saying these jobs may be transferred to India as a cost cutting measure, similar to that carried out by huge corporations such as Dell or Amazon.
If anything he was being racist against the British - but I, for one, won't take offence.;)0 -
One thing I'm still really confused about is are the R&Rs nationwide or are they store specific?
As pretty much an R&R virgin (obviously my current condition is due to immaculate conception  ) I think my best bet would be to use the Mis-price thread rather than trying to find my own mis-prices. I know Hey Dude has recommended the use of the scanners but my difficulty is that although there are 4 stores in town, only one of them (the most out of the way) has scanners and the first time I tried an R&R on a huge leg of lamb, it was in a non-scanner store and the misprice didn't work and I was hugely embarrassed as I had to get an immediate refund (I looked pretty stupid holding this massive carcass at CS desk). So i really got my fingers burnt and was too scared to try again. I suspect I'm already quite known at my local very small store for my coupon use so I'm also a bit reluctant to ask the staff to scan items as I don't want to get banned.
If the mis-prices are national, not store specific, it will be worth my while going to the out of the way store, see....
Anyway, at the mo, living a cyber R&R life through you guys as too scared to venture too far and try in case I go into labour :eek:0 -

Both.....the errors where the sel's are out of date are normally store specific whereas the ones where offers do not work generally tend to be nationwide.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

You are a supposedly a tesco employee posting on a thread about tesco that at times can have adverse effects on the reputation of the company.
Your post does nothing to enhance that reputation or your own.
If you disagree with the posts then thats fine, there may be a more professional way of showing your disagreement.0 -
Think I might risk going into labour in Tescos for a 32" LCD telly!!!0

Totally amazed at the "service" in Copdock Tescos at Ipswich this afternoon!
Noticed some lamb steaks that were overpriced by a pound a kilo, picked up 4 packs and a few other bits like bread etc. let the OH go to CS for the R&R this time, she called me over when the CS "lady" refused the R&R having pointed out their addidtion to the policy (on an A4 sheet) stating that they operate a bulk buy policy that limits customers to one item!!
Now hang on, 1 item??? So 2 is bulk buying???
This sign also made NO mention of refunds/R&R whatsoever, just that you couldnt buy any more than one of each item!
I did ask why they have offers on bulk buys (like the 5% on wine) when that sign says you arent allowed to buy any more than 1. Also asked why its not enforced at the checkout, she then said its not a bulk buy policy in that sense, just when it comes to refunds, she said she would refund us on one but not the others.
OH said she just refund the whole lot, CS woman then said "why? did you buy four packs thinking you were going to get them free?" OH replied "No, I expected them to be the right price" then CS come out with "Why are you asking for a refund on them? you obviously didnt want them if you arent prepared to pay for them"
We pointed out that the reason we didnt want to buy them was that we would be being overcharged on them. Got the refund on all four packs, OH asked for the CS lady to sign the receipt so we have her name for a reference when we take it up with head office and she blankly refused, she wasnt wearing a name badge either.
Obviously when OH rings head office she cant say "The woman on CS desk that looked like a witch with blonde hair"
She was really rude, she obviously knew the game but the sign and her attitude really had us seething when we walked out of there!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
