  • Some advice please guys, whilst in the queue in Tesco express tonight I noticed budweiser/stella packs buy 2 for £10 with sel ending 24/10 anyone know if this has been extended?

They only had one pack on the shelf so could not try it out but am tempted to go back tomorrow.
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • ive heard they extend lots more beer offers lately, and its catching ppl out
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D

I think this might be called something like 'The Express Trick' by some of the more paranoid of our community. This offer has been extended until at least 07/11/06.

One way to check is to look at the website, as the offers are often the same as in store.

Just a quickie to the two tesco people on here, spa + constantine

Q Do you think its fair to overcharge thousands of people per day on an any number of items, then when a few "smart !!!!!!" (eg us) realise tesco's game and level the playing field (using tescos own r+r policy) to get items for free?

Im disgusted and would hate to think how much my mum / dad etc have been overcharged in the past.
    Postman,

I personally do not overcharge anyone.....

You seem to betaking the "overcharging" very personally and i recommend reading a few of the dudes posts as they help to get things into perspective a little. Everyone loves to use the little old lady or "my mum and dad" argument as if little old ladies or mums and dads are perfectly innocent and would do no wrong ever.....

That said, i do not agree with the overcharging of customers, and neither does constantine (i think). Lets set the record straight here....NO ONE AT ANY LEVEL SETS OUT TO DELIBERATELY OVERCHARGE CUSTOMERS...EVER.

I have posted many times some possible causes of overcharges, and there are many that i have not mentioned, i am not going to go over them all again. In the store that i am in we have over 15000 labels, now realistically there are always going to be some that are wrong, some showing a higher price, some a lower price....its a fact of life that where there ishuman intervention then errors will be made, its about reducing those errors as much as possible.

What is interesting postman is that you, along with many others, have not complained about being undercharged (or at least not on here)....i wonder why that is....

Did I miss something, or do you mean the Technica sel £169, scan £169.97?

I don't understand how you are asking if you missed something when referring to TV's but then claim that you have had an R&R on 2 today???

Look at us, at page 60, nearly two and a half thousand posts and not much of an argument in sight!!

Any chance of a part 14 (not sure if we really want a part 13...superstition and all that!!)

How can there be a bulk buy policy of one item when all stores offer Buy one get one free offers....this is a minimum purchase of two!

    My point exactly!

I dont think anyone in their right mind would say buying four of something was "bulk buying"

And as for the fact that they actively encourage bulk buying on wine by offering a 5% discount on six bottles!!!

But her arguement was that it didnt apply to purchases, just to refunds saying "Oh we cant stop people from buying more than one of something"
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
