  • Told today price on the box is irrelevant the customer must check for the SEL

do they not check their items? it is actually illegal not to display the correct price for an item and stores are obliged to charge you the lesser value I believe. where I work we have to check every item without a price on is marked by the correct sel every 2 months
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Avoid debit/credit cards !!, strictly cash

cards can be traced to an individual

  • looks like there onto you!

harassment mind? call dundee, and hit em harder, go farther!! :rotfl:

If we are going on a war footing I am currently considering my response:

The best suggestion so far is to release one of my ferrets, 7:00pm next Friday, should cause a laugh.

My son suggested letting off a couple of large rockets in the electrical section, seems a bit extreme to me, may hurt other shoppers.

I'm sorry if this point has already been asked and answered - but after trawling thru PAGES of posts, I cannot see the answer so here goes

The Lansons BLACK label that has been posted about loads this week - I finally tracked it down with £21.xx sel - but ALL the bottle above the sel, although they HAD a black label ( with a gold trim around), had GOLD label written on the label ?
There was no other Lansons at all on the shelves, and since I have already got stacks of unsuccessful R&Rs to return, I didn't risk it.

Should the label SAY black label, or just HAVE a black label

Thanks in advance for any clarification. Free champagne would be nice on Christmas morning ;)

Just climed in to my (cool) loft to look at the bottles.

Hi....yes the label must say "Black Label"......it sounds as if theyve put the "gold" in the wrong place.....the "Gold" is generally £23/£24......but if this is the only one around with a £21.74 sel under it, you could still be on for an RandR....as its not your fault theyve put the wrong bottles on the £21.74 sel...

A fortnight ago when i got mine the sel was £16.68(or akin).....but the proper price was £20.78

Last week they put the price up at the tills to £21.74 but a lot of stores didnt change the £20.78 sel.........this is how the current one came about.

EDIT.....it appears you could be on a winner here as the £21.78 sel is definately for the Black Label, but it appears they put the "Gold Label" there by mistake.......just refuse to accept what they say(if they refuse) and get your refund immediately. I got 6 bottles at a time, as they offer a case discount.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • The transaction number on the receipt will link up to the actual transaction on the store's database. This, in turn, will show if a clubcard has been used. A good example is Tesco.com. Log into .com, click on Grocerys, then My Favourites - it will show most of your recent purchases in store.

    OMG:eek: Never noticed this one
It shows the mp3 player I r&r'd on Tuesday! oh well it will also show the DAB radio shortly too!!:rotfl:

Must remember NOT to use clubcard and NOT to use tesco credit card.

Off out tomorrow to look for the sony TV
