I am not sure0 -
Constantine wrote:Any bulk purchase limit is set by an individual store, there is no company set limit.
So how do your customers know what it is then?
And surely it cannot be changed leaving the checkout and finding the cs desk?0 -

On the zero tolerance policy that apparently exists there and how obviously well this site is monitored at that store. I can't wait to visit the store personally, planning to go and visit my sister very soon.
now back to my part of the country
was in my local store last night and saw a Tesco personnel manager givin an induction tour for a group of new recruits................most of them looked barely 15 ?????.............bodes well for the xmas season misprices !!!0 -

I think that in some stores its not because they watch this site but because someone has got there first. The witch at the electrical desk today had definitely been upset by someone r&ring before me.0 -

No No No No..........apparently this store was spooky to extreme !!!
No question that they avidly monitor this site0 -

Because the store displays the POS that is provided for the purpose. The quantity part is left blank for the store to fill in with what is appropriate for them. It is in the form of a small shelf talker. The store may also produce signage to display behind the CSD. For some stores it is more of an issue than others, based on the size of the store or its location. It can also be used to protect availability for some seasonal lines.
I have posted on this before. I have also posted before how much I hate the policy.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

FloFlo wrote:I was hoping Constantine or someone who has first hand knowledge of actual policy, not store gossip/rumour would answer. It must be written in a manual somewhere. IMO if you are sold x amount of goods and overcharged on each then you should get r&r on x amount. The time to mention bulk buying policy is at the checkout before purchasing.
IMHO (and I think the law would back you up on this)
If the till operator allows you to buy 12 items, then CS have no right to say that this is above their bulk policy......they can comment....but not refuse
I certainly wouldnt ask at the till, if they've allowed you to purchase that many, then they can't change their mind at CS....
If there is a limit, it should be stopped at the purchase point.
If they could change their mind afterwards......then their own policies would be contradictory.............Which come to think of it.........Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Zero tolerance? You have me confused with someone else. I have never denied anyone an r & r and never would.
What from my posts ever gave you the impression I would?Who or what was I before you came in to my life
