Instead of scanning the barcode on the create you twist one of the middle cans and scan a can.. scanner thinks its a pack of 4..not 24 so you get it at the lower price.

Thats pretty much theft! But I understand where you are coming from. Tescos must lose a lot of stock through the self-service tills, and even more money from not having to enter a pin number, just swipe anyone's card!

RE: Anyone here familiar with the term "P/M" on SEL's apparently standing for "pre-marked"......

No! And as a consumer, I should be informed of any shorthand/initials on price tags before I buy.

Imagine if on my cheques there were he initials, "RTCC" I have not informed Tesco that this means "Right To Cancel Cheque." Not quite the same, but you catch my drift??

Just what i thought, i even think i was shortchanged with the refund having looked at the receipt again... will be heading off to non local stores tomorrow...

anyone know where i can get a cheep freezer -(actually being serious here)

I wonder how you serial r&rers manage not to get banned? I R&R less than once a week but since getting a psp last month at least three of the cs staff seem to have clocked me and look daggers at me even though I'm not doing anything illegal and if the shop didn't misprice I wouldn't be able to R&R. Today I picked up 2 tortes and the discount didn't come off but when I realised two of the dragon ladies were on cs I didn't go for R&R. I live less than a mile from a Tesco extra but don't have any other t's within 10 mile radius.

some of us do indeed get banned but usually from a store that is not too local ;)

and if you've been overcharged let the dragon ladies do their worst

I crap my pants every time! It's such a rush!!

I am just waiting to get banned. I try to not make a scene, trouble is, they all know me now!

I am lucky that one of the Extras I visit, very rarely has the same CS at the desk from one day to the next!! And the other, where it seems to be only 2 work there, I started a conversation along the lines of "I am so grateful to YOU for telling me about this when you gave me a refund"
It so far has done the trick!
