Tis true - I'll share a drink and some class C substances with any good Dude or Dudette who so happens to wander into my vicinity*

By class C one assumes you mean Coke*????
Lets not pick on the simply brilliant LFC, its off topic and quite simply an even easier target than a large supermarket chain!!
*Coke made by coca-cola beverages of course!!!Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

That would be Coca-Cola Schweppes Beverages, based in Brackmills, Northampton - not too far from a recently taken-over/shut down/Eddie Stobartised Tesco Distribution Centre, no less...And people think Tesco employs people specifically to hunt down/cross-reference, etc habitual R&Rers! Tesco is making people redundant, folks, not taking on more staff!
I have a new motto for Tesco. Forget "Every Little Helps". Try "Cutting Costs At Any Cost."In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

It will probably be PID next. Think about it, Tesco is a company that 'costs' every action down to within an inch of its life. It can't have escaped them that, for all it pays the PID as a whole in all the stores, there are still loads of pesky R&R'ers finding misprices without too much difficulty, so effectively the job is getting done by amateurs who's only requirement is a few free products every now and again (remember, R&R'd product gets recorded as waste, similar to a box of broccoli that's gone yellow, and hence can be offset against tax.). Do these R&R'ers demand sick pay, company pension, national insurance contributions and other worker's rights? Of course not. In other words, they are CHEAP and get the job done. A little like beta testers for Microsoft's latest Windoze bloatware, I suppose. This won't have gone unnoticed at Tesco Towers, believe me.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

Wish me luck
No bargains at local Tesco today and I was very disappointed, but not to worry there is another TESCO in my area and I have my list of what is taking my fancy and the price of SEL and the price Scannning.
Not defeated just yet!:p0 -

Duder, have you tried green becks lemon stuff yet?
Its bright green and probably glows under a black light (like cats urine)
P.S If you're the Dude of this board, I must be WalterMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Ok Guys
I can confirm that both celebrations red tin and quality street purple tin offers are kicking in correctly
Am now proud owner of 4 tins of choccies which at only £4.50 each will come in handy for xmas.0 -
Guys, after lots of tins at Tesco today (and lots will have to go back I don't think they have fixed the glitch properly, if you buy 2 tins of the gold quality street (2 for £10) it takes double discount (7.98) off so works out at £6.02 for 2 tins!
Hope this helps!Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -
