8 November - Tesco Clubcard Big Voucher Exchange

Sorry for bumping up a thread that is a month old but i wasnt too sure whether i should open a new thread or not...
Anyway...
Had £15 worth of tesco vouchers of which i doubled up £5 to use on clothing (on 3rd Dec) and was told the £10 worth of points would be credited bank on to my account - i even received a receipt saying it has gone through.
Having looked through my clubcard statement online today, no points seemed to have gone on. Gave Customer services a call and they said its your fault for losing that receipt, you should know that problems can occur. They also said wait until your next statement comes through the post and then it MIGHT come on...
So my question is, is anyone in the same situation? Did you get the points put on your card straight away... Do the points actually come on the next statement?0 -

In the Double Up promotion earlier in 2010 I had several transactions where there was a surplus on the value of the original Clubcard vouchers. They surplus points did not appear on my account and I phoned to see what was happening about them as I too was concerned. No action was taken at the time of my phone call, but, in the end they were automatically credited to my account at the same time as my next lot of Clubcard vouchers were printed. So it all worked out right in the end.0

I changed £10 in vouchers into £20 bedding vouchers online and collected instore last week. I wasn't impressed with the quality so returned the item to store today.
I was given a gift card with £10 on it. Is this right? The assistant wasn't very helpful. She said it was a return due to my changing my mind and I had to point out that this wasn't the case, I was returning it as I wasn't satisfied with the quality. I asked if I could exchange it for something else for £20, she said no.
So it looks like I've lost out on the double-up. I asked if I could have the vouchers refunded to my account (in case they do a double-up in the future) but she just gave me the giftcard instead.
Is there any way I can get this altered?
Rather late in the day to comment too..(sorry)
I returned something in store - curtains I'd ordered online with the double up and was given giftcard to the value of the curtains, rather than the value of tokens used - I used it against my normal shopping!
If you've not already done so, I would call customer service and ask for their help to give you points-credit etc0 -

I ordered three items and went to collect instore - one was out of stock. They gave me a full £20 refund which was the price of the item - it was for a £10 double up - so I got the full refund. Might be worth a note to HO on this one.I changed £10 in vouchers into £20 bedding vouchers online and collected instore last week.
