As the vouchers are in £5 - £10 denominations unless your order was exactly £30, £70, £75, £150 etc there will be some cash to pay as you dont get change on the vouchers.
So if you had spent £29.99 you cant use £30 worth of vouchers as your 1p short however you can use £20 / £25 worth of vouchers but you will have the £4.99 / £9.99 to pay in cash.
If yo have £30 worth of doubled up vouchers and the item you want is £35 thats fine as your paying the extra by cash.
For example, I had £40 doubled up vouchers to spend on toys. Total was £39.97. Till did not accept last voucher. You have to spend exact amount or more..Great!It's great in here!0 -
Another Tesco ploy to get us all spending moreIt's great in here!0

If you're having problems getting your online order confirmed it might be worth waiting a while. I ordered some toys earlier today and, at the credit card verification page, the site stalled/crashed leaving me not knowing whether my order was confirmed.
This had happened to me the other night so planned to ring up and sort it out over phone after tea. kept checking my pc in meantime, pointer timer still swirling and no access to Tesco direct site. After tea, almost one hour later, came back to pc, to find to my great surprise, my order finally processed and an order confirmation page displayed. Phew!
Having read about all the delays with online voucher I've got mine changed at my local store. Even this hasn't been straightforward as their system keeps crashing too and had to come back later.0 -

Yeah its a rubbish system but a great money spinner for tesco.
After i had doubled up today it cost me an extra £16 but as i accumulate the points for practically nothing, Im not gonna moan at some almost FREE toys.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

our tesco store (bedford) has a tesco direct department(a bit like argos)Does this mean i can exchange them in store and then goto the tesco direct counter to buy items(ie laptop)?
any help appreciated
Yes, you should be able to. I did it yesterday in my store....mind I had to Q twice, once to get the exchange then another to join the ordering desk. BUT did it that way rather than risk ordering codes and things going OOS. Delivering to store on Friday. If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
I've spent over an hour now trying to process my order on Tesco direct. The codes came through ok so I found the goods I wanted, added them to basket and entered every one of the 14 codes they had sent. I have a whole £5 to pay so entered credit card details and the bl**dy site crashed - just says unexpected error. I now have tried several more times and same story. I can't get through to CS so guessing they are closed and I'm almost certain that when I ring them tomorrow they will claim I've now spent the vouchers and by the time we get it sorted the item will be OOS.
Utterly useless:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -
Does anyone know if i ordered £60 worth of clothes and paid half vouchers and half cash what would happen if i need to return anything? Would they refund me in cash if it was less than £30? I want to place an order but i want to order a couple of different sizes in things as i always seem to be between two sizes.0

Ladieswear or childrenswear for partner/daughters. I don't need anymore clothes
If the quality isn't that great, it will have to go on Toys or Fragrances
Thanks
I find the womenswear fine but childrenswear is a bit hit and miss. I often find that tops shrink in the wash so if i often end up buying a size up to allow for this.0 -

You'll get refunded in cash(to your card)
I used this promo last time and had to return a £50 kiddizoom vtech camera, i ordered it knowing i didnt want it and that they would refund me cash so that i could buy a proper digital camera for my son as these werent included in the offer last time. (the SA told me I could do that)
So even if you piad £30 with vouchers and £30 with cash and you returned your entire order it would all be refunded in cash.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Don't be too sure. I only got back half the value of the clothes I returned last time. I was very disappointed to say the least.0
