Hypno and jwil thank you so much for your kind replies and your understanding
Well i've made my mind up to deduct the amount off what I owe to OH - so far i've deducted £10 but i will put £10 of petrol in my car next week and check how many miles i get out of this and if more has to be deducted then it will be  Definitely decided on this as OH was going to borrow my car again today and i said then he'd need to put petrol in as there wasn't any in it. OH then decided he'd use his own car  The other thing is mostly when he uses my car its not for short journeys and he'll only put £5 or £10 in it
Then there's the extra miles being clocked up when i'm trying to keep them down
and there's times when i've been a passanger when he's driving my car and i've had to say he wouldn't drive his own car in this way - really doesn't treat my car with any respect
Why he can't just use his own car unless its in the garage i don't know
I am still very much under the weather todaywhich disappointingly means i won't be doing the garden
I really need to feel better first and though i have bits of time of feeling ok, i then feel horrid and need a lie down. Really upset about not being able to finish the garden though as it will sit there part done until i do do it. I'll also need to go out and put the green waste in the recycling bin - all weeds and things that have been cut back.
So plans for today are somewhat altered:
Do MS - really pleased they did reschedule this although means i'll have to get ready to go out ho hum
Write up MS
Put up recipe for jwil
Go through paperwork box
Check projects
Move clothes
Start making notes in my beautiful new notebook
Wash pots
Clean sides down in kitchen
Check for MS's (again)
Print out all paperwork for MS's lined up for next week
Update new diary with all jobs and appointments
Complete all surveys
Sort out all saved documents on computer
Reading
And that'll do for now

Bleurgh! Lets get the bad news out of the way first shall we and then i can end the post on a more cheery note:
1, Still feeling rotten
2, Just opened a scary debt letter :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Thing is its dated as being sent nearly 2 weeks ago :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: and it was delivered Thursday - i know as the post came Friday when we were back home so definitely delivered Thursday and as i'm so busy and been rushing around and feeling under the weather i just popped it onto the correspondence pile. The letter says the company need to speak to me and they've tried to ring  Which I find very odd as i have no left messages on the answermachine - surely if it was so urgent they'd have left a message to let me know to call them back ? They also say following me contacting them - which was a while ago to see how much the full amount would be to pay off.
Ok worst case scenario is I have to pay this off now - meaning i have to use the funds i just got in on my 0% BT - still it is money i owe and is noted in my sig - just wish i could have spoke to them before monday as i know i'll only worry until thenCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Just had to stop for a phone call.
Ok nothing i can do about the letter other than:
1, [STRIKE]make sure funds are available to pay full balance[/STRIKE] Done! and kinda think i'll be going into town earlier than expected monday to make the payment as they don't take card payments. Oh and the figure of paying off balance is just a guestimate as they have not included the amount on the letter
2, Ring up first thing monday for the balance owed and confirm how to make the payment (just to be sure it has to be in the bank)
3, work my butt off to not be in any debt so that this never happens again- that pit of the stomach sick feeling
- the work starts tomorrow with 2 MS's and e-bay listing and any surveys that come in and checking for more MS's
- so the positive is renewed energy and determination to get everything paid off.
So onto other things
Having got all paperwork together i have done all necessary filing :T
I have not got my diary sorted as i am a bit tired now so will do this tomorrow when everythings clearer in my head and i'm less paniced hopefully
When i do my diary thats when i'll update my project list too
i'll put chicken recipe on tomorrow
start my new notepad
All the other jobs from today i got done - sorting stuff on the comp meant i printed quite a few things off and then filed a few things appropriately  it was a huge job  but glad its all done now
I have just checked the e-bay items i've listed and they mostly have watchers and 1 bid so hoping i get a few last minute bidders tomorrow as that will help.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Wanted to post that before i lost it - as happened earlier oops!
Wanted to also confess that i have probably been a bit of a grump recently and am likely to be for a few weeks:eek: i usually am around my birthday
I could list all the negatives but would rather focus on the positives:
I have a house and am maintaining this as best i can. It will be a beautiful home one day and the work i'm doing now will help to make that happen
I am growing fruit and veg which i enjoy doing and tastes fab :T
I have interests and have recently investigated some new and fun things to do which will get me out meeting new people
I have also looked into learning some new skills which should help my personal and hopefully professional development :T these are all sorted into projects
I have started an exercise regime - which i'll be working on some more when i'm well enough :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
By my next birthday I will be debt-free and working towards being mortgage free :T:T:TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

So there we have it - the overtime is due to it being school holidays so alot of people taking time off - doesn't happen every month and should be fairly guaranteed so i expect £350 after tax will be about right - hope so anyway and hope i've overcalculated tax and i actually get more :T:T:T
MS's will be tough - one of the payments is from a new company and i'm not sure when their payment date is.. also the bulk of these is funds i'm hoping to get from a company i do the majority of my MS's for and have had hardly any picked up for this month :eek::eek:
e-bay is on there so i will have to get on with that tomorrowsomeone nudge me if i don't update on this please

DedicatedDFW wrote: »Hi all and thank you so much for your replies - i was worried i'd sound mean but although i'm not sure what Mr Dedicated's income is, i know its at least 3x or possibly 4x the income i get from full time work.
Yikes! And he's pushing you for petrol that you've used? Why on earth shouldn't you push him? And when he doesn't recompense you, then you take it? Sounds like some severe re-negotiating needs to be done
Okay, the petrol issue is below this paragraph, but the point stands!
KC - do you mean recognised as a shopper or you knew the person working there? - either way *eep*
I was recognised as someone that had been there before. I was recognised one other time as a mystery shopper in particular, but it was at the very end of the session, so it was okay, fortunately ...
So again, advice needed pleaseBefore we went away i went to the petrol station and just about filled up on petrol :eek::eek: - well, i thought at least i don't need to go back for a month which will save me a bit of time in the week and for some reason i never enjoy going to the petrol station
Anywho's after putting all that petrol in OH borrowed my car :mad::mad: and drove approximately 60-80miles - know for a fact he did a 60mile round trip but he also did some other 'little' journeys and i couldn't get out of him where to. Anyways i said i know there's loads of petrol in the car but please put some in as that has to last me - and has he - no
and today my petrol light came on :eek::eek: i know i shouldn't be upset over it but i put £70 in *sob* and if you all remember a few weeks ago when I borrowed OH's car every time i got in it i had to put petrol in as i would use it and then drop it off for him and then he used it, using up remaining petrol and not putting any more in and then complained at the end of the week that i'd only put a few pound in that morning (i'd put about 15 quid in during the week).
Sorry for the rant but i am really starting to see where my money just 'disappears' to- So do i deduct some petrol off what I owe OH? Yes you do! I really don't want this to sound petty but driving at least 60miles is not cheap these days and he has a much better income than me. Also, as i've just put if i ever use his car - only when mine isn't running - then i put petrol in. Also if this was the other way round OH would properly say something about it and not be happy so why should i just keep paying out?
KC - my garden isn't that big its just there was alot to sort out in it - all the pots wanted tidying up, weeding, path construction, seating area and of course all the rubbish that needed taking to the tip. Am most proud when i look at how spacious and pretty it is and will be once i've done
Same for me now on the size of the garden - its a normal suburban type thing, 35' long or so, in my previous house it was 3 times as long, and with lots of terracing - very, very difficult. Spaciousness, like you say, is a great feeling!
Hope you're looking after yourself with that cold - don't do too much in the garden, or you might get an infection on top ...2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hope you don't mind me asking, but does Mr Dedicated have debts of his own? Its just that from reading your posts it sounds as though he's trying to use your petrol when thers no reason not to use his own? Just a thought, sorry if its out of turnMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all, just posting a quick reply and will be back in a bit
KC - definitely *eep* to being recognised though sometimes i think the questions that you have to ask doing an MS really do signal that its an MS and i try and avoid those kind of shops.
Benbenandme - thank you for stopping by- no Mr D has no debts but does have that wonderful thing of savings  I was actually thinking last night that before i was made redundant (i earned alot more then) then this sort of thing used to happen all the time - him using my car. I never thought much of it as the money was coming in and i had no debt - but actually i'd have had more savings if it had just been me using my car
