Oof! Suddenly remembered it was the last day of the month and had to post on the challenge thread so that my totals could be included
Done that now
So from my sig as of today if i pay off £1620.05 (and add to this approximately £80 interest) then i'll have paid off Targets 3, 4 and 5. This is my challenge for August and i'll be focusing on the handy PADing to help me get there. Along with the Great August Plan! Although this only covers £1000 and there's a canny bit more to scrabble together to get to this target :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Well thats me set up for tomorrow when i hope to post up my August plan - figure this £1000 will be more realistic so hopefully more achieveable and this should hopefully bode well for the extra £700 or so i need to reach this month
Not alot else achieved after an impromptu trip to the pub *hic*
Got my list of things together for whats needed for me to achieve everything i want to tomorrow - will be setting alarm early in order to wash pots before my mum comes round to help me in the garden :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually did quite a bit of weeding when i was out there earlier  though this was only 1 bit i could stretch and reach as i didn't want to get my wellies dirty - only because the weeding should be being done tomorrow and i was sidetracked into doing a bit todayDirty wellies would have meant cleaning them and there wasn't time for that as i was doing lunch, sorting tip stuff, storing seating - all heavy carrying - phew!
Well, got a few minutes now where i can start next knitting projectand that will be something else crossed off my list :T:T:T
Then re-cap on MS's and the rest of the things can wait until tomorrow
Just hope i manage to get up early enough to do banking, bingo x2 and pots and maybe move some clothes before going to the tip! And then hope to be back in enough time to start making the path before i have to go out for MS's
Though it'd be lovely to have all the garden sorted out tomorrow, given the amount of time v work i think realistically there'll just be some bits that can be completed and then schedule in the rest perhaps for later in the week  so aim to have patio area sorted out with no extra work to do. Dig up potatoesom nom nom
path created
fruit bushes re-housed
maybe a bit of weeding.
Hope you've all had a lovely weekendCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

[STRIKE]start on new knitting project [/STRIKE] Done! :j Must admit Mr D was bemused by this at approximately 10.45pm last night :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Get together my to do list and see whats to doand again later...
Saturday to Monday To Do list:
Would like to achieve:
[STRIKE]All rubbish thats strewn over the garden off to the tip or moved to side of house so its not looking like a real dumping ground[/STRIKE] Will mean alot of heavy work for me and a trip to the tip which i've never been to. And, trust me, i'm not the one who has been dumping huge pieces of wood, rubble and goodness know what! all over the place  The thing is, i hate doing this as its cleaning up even more after OH but i cannot live with this mess or the damage its doing to my plants a moment longer! Done! :j:j:j Although what i was throwing out was proper rubbish - rubble etc. i was shocked by what people throw out :eek::eek:
When i can get to plants start weeding
Make a path in the garden
Weed at the front of the house
Re-house raspberries and blackberries - either in my garden or pass onto family member
[STRIKE]Free bingo - keep up with this daily.[/STRIKE]Done! :j
[STRIKE]Look at bank account see what PAD i can now realistically acieve [/STRIKE] Done! :j
Sort out and list 10 things on e-bay taking me to 10% of my target
Sort out things to take away for our little break
[STRIKE]Freezer inventory - i may as well do this as i am going to empty everything out of the freezer and re-pack it. It is very full - couldn't help it picking up steak reduced all the way down to 80p![/STRIKE] :j Done!
[STRIKE]Go for a walk and maybe get a coffee [/STRIKE]:coffee: :jDone! except for the coffee
Continue on with projects
All clothes away into wardrobe
[STRIKE]Start new knitting project [/STRIKE]:) Done! :j
[STRIKE]Complete all surveys in inbox [/STRIKE] Done! :j Though i got screened out of nearly all of themCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Obviously, yesterdays To Do list involved things from the 3 day list. As today is the final day today i have to:
Start weeding
Make a path in the garden
Weed at the front of the house
Re-house raspberries and blackberries - either in my garden or pass onto family member
Sort out and list 10 things on e-bay taking me to 10% of my target
Sort out things to take away for our little break
Continue on with projects
All clothes away into wardrobe
The one thing i can see me not achieving here is the e-bay listing  We'll see how the day goes, expect to be doing my MS's until about 1-2pm and then in garden until about 6ish
Still must get on with pots - still not managed this as yet :eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Wow. Dedicated, I'm amazed (in a good way) by the focus and determination in your posts. I've kind of lost that. Okay, pushing for it again here. Inspirational!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Just caught up. *Phew*. I feel positively lazy now!
Hope your garden is looking a bit better now, I'm sure it must be! It is shocking to see what people throw away, it's ridiculous.
Stewing steak - you just need to slow cook it and it will be fine. It's tougher I think, so once it's slow cooked it will be lovely.
Good luck with the great August plan, I'm going to try and make a payment each day as well this month."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi All
Am back now! KC that was a lovely thing to say - especially as I really enjoy reading your posts which are always so well put:D
jwil thanks for the advice on the stewing steak- over a decade of being a vegetarian means i don't always know how to cook certain things
First of all lets see what I managed to do before i went away and what i've got left to do
