I've been planning on some batch cooking too, hopefully I'll manage to get some done while I'm off.
I'm also going to try and carry on making as many payments as possible next month - even if it is just a few pence. I've got another tight month ahead where I'm very short, so need to stay focussed!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi hypno  thanks for stopping by
really trying to meet these last few PADs
Hey jwil - lets hope the sales come in for you next month so you have the spare cash to pay
So got on with some items on my To Do list :T 2 things done :T these were paper based then started the phone calls  no wonder things take much longer than expected. Been trying 1 number for 10minutes and will have to put that one off to another day now  Next number currently been on hold for 5minutes  dread to think what its costing
But if i get through and get this sorted then things will be moving forward - ooh yep call answered and forms being sent out to me :T good i think, just means i'll have work to do once these arrive
Been checking for MS's to no avail and completed a survey which is edging me towards payoutand screened out of others. Washed a few pots - only a few as OH had moved only a few ???! so there wasn't room for alot and i couldn't be bothered doing the hot water battle again
Roll on le weekend! - oh just added up that there are 5 days left in the month now if i *can* muster together £48 as an overpayment before the end of the month then when the interest is added on to target 2 the balance will still be below £1700 next monthStill awaiting delivery of my new credit card too where i can do a balance transfer to it - would be fab to put my interest bearing accounts onto it - would need to be a big credit limit though - if i get enough to transfer target 2 though i will do that and then PAD to target 3 and aim to clear that next month.
Have my birthday coming up soon - had rather wanted to be debt free by this point but that won't be the case. Still, debts are going down which is the main thingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Woohoo! I got my 0% BT through which puts the majority of my debt at 0% now as i've just requested my balance transfers which will go through in about a week
I didn't get enough to put it all at 0% but still i am soo happy with this :T:T:T
So i popped the last post on so i could see where my sig was up to as its going to be all change now :T:T:T
Off to do sig and then back with my August planCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Wow that took some working out  also - i have the 0% card i've used for float for MS's and then used payment for MS's to reduce the balance on the interest charging accounts so at some point that'll get added on here unless i just clear it when more MS funds arrive
So tomorrow my pad will be that little £8 to target 2 - this will clear this to £0 although i am confident that they'll still put interest on so i'll pay that in full when the bill arrivesand then request they close my account
:D:D
My 3rd target is the OD i have been living in for a while - as the majority of this got BT i'm working to clear this and run my account in credit for the first time in years:o:o though i'll leave the OD available - its not 0% but OH has been muttering about the money i sortof owe him (its very complicated and he didn't just hand me this amount so its not as though i borrowed it if that makes any sense - just don't want it to sound like i'm ungrateful :rotfl::o)
Following these epic adventures of closing 1 credit card and clearing an overdraft i shall turn my budgeteering skills to target 4 - the other big OD thats not at 0%. So huge, huge huge challenge for end of August is to have targets 2, 3, 4 and 5 at £0 - might as well squeeze 5 in there as it is the last smaller balance- right i'd better start e-baying now hadn't i :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thing is this will leave a tidy lot of 4 targets to focus on rather than thinking about and trying to remember everythingAnd of course i'll then really need to start PADing in earnest as they will all seem like very large amounts because of course, they are
Still very pleased to have got this through and looking forward to receiving the cashback on it tooCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Going back to the batch cooking stuff - curry doesn't have to be expensive......cheap cuts of beef done in the slow cooker make for beautiful rich curries.......and I love slow cooked veggie curry - even my exOH who was a big carnivore didn't mind them - provided I used "chunky" veg such as cauli and potatoes.
Yum yum yum......I may be making such beauties myself over the weekend for the freezer - thank you for the inspirationSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
