Wow, you've been busy! Yay to decluttering and organisation though - wanna come do my house?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: jwil - actually i find it much easier going into someone elses house and getting things sorted out
Righto!
Best finish the last of organising from yesterday - just a few bits of paper to go and then i can take a look at my To Do list :T Doubt there'll be much getting done today though - had very little sleep last night which was a combination of the fact i don't sleep well anyways, OH coming in very late night / early morning and proceeding to put all the lights on in the bedroom  Followed by someone peeping their horn at 5.25am - just get out of the car and knock on the door for goodness sakes  and then managed to get up only an hour late - 8.30am instead of 7.30am. Don't feel too bad for this mind - whats hard is OH is working on the house :T:T:T but making a heck of a racket :eek::eek: and i think he think's i'm his labourer *insert rolley eyed smiley* So i keep getting random requests to fetch something etc.
So am doing free bingo at the mo. got the washer on and at some point will get round to making a nice roast dinner todayCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Good that OH is doing some work on the house, hope it makes a difference! We are off next week, so I'm hoping to get some stuff done here too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi jwil - yes am pleased he's finally refocused on this too
and i think part of me getting my paperwork organised was that stuff was getting done rather me just trying to do it all
Well i had a huge lie-in this morning - there's just something about me and monday mornings that don't seem to do so well in the getting up early category- in my defence i have currently lost my weekend lie-ins so monday will just have to do
Still got up, cancelled a MS and had a different MS i wanted to do cancelled (by a different company)nothing i've done just these aren't being done now.
Looked for a new job and didn't find anything to apply forDrafted letter to bank to close credit card - i asked them to and they said they need it in writing - how silly, i haven't had a card with them for 5 years - just a balance i've been paying off  so i requested a letter to confirm this has been done
- how else would i know?
Checked banking - bingo will have to be done tonight, checked for more MS's and am now going to throw some food in a bag and rush out the door- oh and an OP to target 2 thrown in there. Might not get to pay as much of this down this month as i'd like - OH wanted a week abroad :eek::eek: - erm no, so we are just having a couple of days away in UK :T:T:T - so my MS money that i'm due may have to stretch to covering my spends - in true MSE style i suspect lots of walks along beaches and filling up as much as possible at brekkie in the B&B
Catch up some more laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
That's a shame about the mystery shop being cancelled.
Yay to a couple of days away though, it always helps to recharge the batteries."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
*Eep* need to do my sums again :eek::eek: Got barely enough in my account to cover my mortgage let alone all the other DD's due out. And breath... i'll be about £80 short when all the money drops in  so will probably be making less of an overpayment towards the end of the month as i'll need the money to cover this (from the MS's) and will need some cash for spends for my little break.
Het jwil yep hoping the break will do me good in terms of re-charging my old batteries
Just finishing off free bingo now and then look at what i need to do the rest of this week :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Morning all
Am counting down the days until my little holiday from f/t workThis is part of the reason i never really stop though as i'll still be working p/t and though i'm looking to pick up as many MS's as i can i haven't got any new ones lined up
I'm going to pop some ideas on here so they are out of my head and on paper so i'm not constantly thinking about them if that makes sense?
On another thread due to a post i'd read (thanks jwil) i again confessed to wasting money on the quick and easy evening meal
this is because i am soo busy the rest of the time and although i really enjoy cooking sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day
So what am i going to do about this? Well i'm going to start batch cooking again :T so 1 day a week (probably at the weekend) i will actually be cooking something from scratch and as this is something i enjoy doing its all good there
i'm guessing the first recipe i'll do is chilli as i managed to pick up some reduced priced organic beef the other day :T:T:T I can get this to stretch to 8-10 portions - obviously hoping for 10
Then the following week i'll do country chicken (8 portions)
I used to do a curry too but the meat for this is quite costly - though i may have some i can use in the freezer  (again reduced price)
So by cooking once a week i should end up with a good stock of tasty home cooked meals in the freezer which are quick and easy to defrost and warm up :T:T:T
Now, if anyone has any suggestions for other meals whether for batch cooking or just something thats quick and easy to do and of course cheapthen i'd be very grateful
I am also taking part in a little ebay challenge - my personal target is to find and list 100 things :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I've actually lifted a few bits out ready for listing but am awaiting free listing day though i may just start at the weekend. I'm thinking if i get enough listed at the weekend I can ask my mum to come and help me with the garden on mondaynow if she can then that will make a massive difference and will also be a significant amount of work achieved on one of my projects
There are alot of if's in there though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So far today i have done 2 x free bingo, checked banking and made another OP to target 2 - and then realised i only have a few days left to go to reach my target of a daily PAD for this month :T:T:T Hoping to do the same again next month and tie this in with my August Plan which should see target 2 balance reduce by £1000 :T:T:T:T
Right, off to do some work on my projects  see you all later xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
