Having a quick cuppa and debating which train to catch  The reason i was so soggy when i got home yesterday is that my work shoes which i suspected had a hole in them - definitely did - on each shoe and 2 holes on 1 shoe :eek: irreparable *sob* - flat shoes with holes in the actual shoe part as well as the sole. so into the bin they went. Which means i need some work shoes :o - i have - going out shoes :), summer shoes - read cotton material :), high heeled boots :) (prefer flats for work - especially when i have to scurry for the train ;)) but no other work shoes. If i go into work early i can mooch over to the sales to try and find something suitable - i did find a replacement when out yesterday but they were £35 and i'm hoping to spend less than this ;)

Well that makes my mind up best get a wriggle on otherwise i may be strutting round work in a fab pair of very high heeled gold glitter shoes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well from the above: -

1-4 i'm not on target for my p/t work but won't be including this on next months challenge as this income is necessary for all my usual bills.

5-8 Angry faces next to my overtime money is due to the fact that i thought this was going to be paid to me at a higher rate than it is - works out significantly less because of this and obviously tax etc. was higher because of higher income. Won't be doing that again.

9-10 e-bay - need a new strategy for this next month, struggling to find items suitable for ebay e.g big items not worth much i don't think people would pay out the hefty postage so i put these things towards carboot. But still not nearly enough stuff for a carboot even if it wasn't raining

11 food budget - really need to tighten my belt this next 2 weeks to be remotely near target on this - everything seems so expensive now :(

    12 hit target :T

13 a looong way off target but am trying every day and been screened out of lots of surveys - this really is dependent on the surveys i'm offered so will just try and do them every day

14-17 hit target :j:j:j - but wow! what alot of hard work thats been!

18-19 should hit on payday

20 hit target :j and more that helps with the shortfall on other bits :T:T:T

Soo close to paying off target 1 - £84 left - some ebay funds will arrive in my account tomorrow leaving £74 and maybe some more Wednesday and then i can see where i'm up to  Either way 1 card will be paid off in full this week and then i can work on the horrid 2nd card (blasted interest!);) Don't have any of these cards now and am looking forward to asking them to close my account properly - so it shows as a cleared and closed balance on my credit file :)

Got some exciting plans going on at the mo. - always nice to look forward to things :) - should be very little cost to me but again something that needs to be factored into the overall cost of things - will reveal more when its all settled :T

Well been scouting round for MS's and nothing available just now :( so off to bed it is. Night all x

lol - at wearing the sparkly shoes to work - i love them too much to take into my workplace which i don't necessarily think is the cleanest of environments :o

And thanks so much with your encouragement for target 1 :) although i'll be using my interest free card for some new work shoes today :o - practical is definitely the way to go on this one i think ;)

Well, after getting up early i've spent the morning on the comp :o - not too bad really when you think i had to spend nearly an hour on some stuff to do to prepare for an MS - if i'd known i had to do this i wouldn't have bothered - and i've another 1 to do, same timeframe, will leave that until tonight now. Also hunted around for some MS's, banking and free bingo all up to date and am now on my second cuppa :coffee: :D

I have also been pondering The Great August Plan - after losing the original one - oops! I suspect its somewhere in the bedroom but OH is still asleep so i'll not check it for now. Have managed to get up to a planned 16 of 20 £50 - so 4 to go. And these are more definite too - e.g not including p/t work which i use to pay normal outgoings

In good news, whilst doing another great paperwork hunt, i discovered this month should be the last one for one of my DD's for insurance - i know the full amount will be due in a few months but this will release a little bit of cash to tackle target 2 :T I'm thinking of putting the new insurance on my card (interest free) and the amount OH contributes to this can be paid off the card with interest - so it will work a little bit like a balance transfer if that makes sense?

Have a good day all x
