  • Having had about 2 hours in bed saturday to sunday before getting up early for le carbooty i didn't clean the fridge when i got in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've started on the utility instead 1 cupboard done and quite a few bits fished out for the carboot :T and i've scheduled cleaning both fridges for friday when i've hopefully more time ;)

Was worth getting up early for le carbooty got a few new bits of clothes and shoes - new with the tags on too :T

I'd had an expensive weekend due to an item breaking and needing to replace it £150 later :( *sob*

Made huge progress on the NVQ - or at least made a start with 3 hours work done and chipping away at OU stuff too :)

Keeping up with spending diary but was so upset at the unexpected spend - this is to be followed up with the dentists this month

Not stopped all day at work which was rubbish :(

Glad to have got a couple of bits out of the way on my november to do list. And will hopefully report more progress tomorrow.

    Hope everyone is well x

  • Oof! its been a long day! Had to come on to update progress to keep up to date with everything

i also want to sign up to the POMYC challenge for next year.

Sold several bits on the bay of e :T stuff is gone and pennies in which is all good after the continued unexpected expenses i've had this month - lets hope thats an end to that *fingers crossed*

2 more bits left to do in the utility and then its onto the cleaning  - maybe that can wait until after i've cleared the living room as well

Hmm... i've got the 2 bits to do and the fridge to clean so that'll all be finished this week - then i've got:-

    Hall to clear

    Landing to clear

Storage to clear (started last week and about half way on this i'd say)

    Living room to clear

    Bathroom to clear

So by Saturday i'll have done the kitchen and utility (2 areas left to do and fridges to clean)

Sunday = hall - easiest thing for the day i am the tiredest :o maybe crack on with storage as i'll have time and space at this point and i *know* there are a couple of small bits for the bay of e

Monday = Landing - quite a bit to do but hopefully do-able ;)

    Tuesday = Bathroom

Wednesday = storage if not done if storage done clear back wall / bookcase

Thursday = clear small couch area

Friday = tv unit, gas & leccy unit

Saturday = anything missed and if not finally clean  :rotfl::rotfl:

It'll be great to get to december and properly unwind with a clean house cleared of all clutter :T

I need to start work on my next assignment - jotting bits down for it.

Further expenses this month will be dentist and opticians appointment - when does it ever end eh ? Oh well. Hopeful i get some energy again soon - running pretty low and have another niggling health issue - nothing serious i am sure and i *am* keeping an eye on it but contrary to my Mr's unusual request that i go the docs (he's normally the one saying i'm fine - i wouldn't bother but i don't go to the docs unless its necessary) i've doctor googled and am happy it will get better of its own accord and if not its too soon to find out whats up anywho's - but still just another niggle to put up with whilst trying to get on with work / ou / nvq / running a home and somewhere in there having a life! Again i guess its the same for us all xx Hope everyone else is well xx

  • Thanks SF - i am going to look after myself today by splurging MSE style on myself ;) Vouchers came through finally so i am off early to spend away :j i have already seen what i want so if it fits i am a very happy bunny indeed :)

Good job its vouchers i'm spending as this month is getting more and more expensive _pale_ Had the urgent to be replaced £150 spend - this was on top of car break down and MOT last month :( Just been to le dentist - i only booked as i knew i had a problem - and the dentist - who was really nice - confirmed this! So thats check up, x-rays and treatment over a few appointments to pay for - never mind the physical agony :rotfl: I have to laugh or i'd cry :rotfl::rotfl: AND next week i have my eye test and i *know* my prescription has changed which will mean new glasses and i can't keep the frames i've got - they've been going over 2 years and are actually broken on the arm but this isn't noticeable but i'm not going to risk keeping the same ones any longer (if they broke any more i'd risk having to buy new frames and lenses again).

Hope you are well SF - i'll have a read whilst at the station of your diary - i've got to dash off now x

Hope everyone else is good too xx

  • Morning World!

So this month I've taken to writing down every single spend - i started with the total my wages were and then am deducting each spend off it to track whats left - not much and still a couple of weeks til payday  Mind you i have had an expensive month £150 urgent replacement item - essential spend, visit to dentist (finally faced that and explained the trouble with some of my teeth which i know the dentist can see anyway but i was saying i'm here because i need this sorting out *gulp*) dentist prodded away and found a filling is needed as well as the issue i was aware of so first of a few appointments starts next week mucho £'s needed  Next up is the opticians and i know i will need new specs so again alot of money to find there. Whilst on the appointment treadmill i finally booked in with the hairdresser again - a bit of a treat i suppose but my hair is getting a bit unmanageable and my roots are so long i'm not sure they can be called roots any more :o

Still, with writing everything down its not having any impact on how i actually spend my money :o - yesterday a cute costume jewellery necklace may have been purchased as a little £1 'pick me up' It is interesting really that i was reading about how someone else monitoring their spends has littered their working week with little spending treats - lunch, coffee, cakes, low value spends and that they confessed that all of this extra and unnecessary spending was because they were at work and served to cheer them up a bit. Oh how i identify with that :o

So answers on a postcard please for any deterrants to frittering on little treats all week :o

Vouchers i got remained in tact - there was nothing i loved enough to part with them for.

Busy day ahead - usual washing, grocery shop, parcel posting, a run, may tackle the landing later, pot washing and fridge cleaning.

But first methinks another cuppa is in order :coffee:
