  • On MSs, what do you class as scary? Not judging, just wondered. I suppose I would avoid ones with high spend on something non-returnable or a service in case the MS went wrong and I couldn't get my money back.

I generally refuse to do ones where you have to return the goods, particularly if the return is to the same store on the same day. I would feel very awkward doing this, particularly in a small store.

I also avoid the ones that require close up photos to be taken covertly. Again, I feel uncomfortable with this and, in general, I can't see what the client gets out of it.

Tonight's MS was easy. I had to assess a call centre. I was on hold for 15 minutes so the assessment was aborted. The call was recorded so they too can have the joy of listening to the recorded message over and over again :rotfl:

  • Hey Chocs

Yes i hadn't thought of those ones but i don't do recorded ones or the covert picture ones. The scary ones for me are the car ones  Never done one ever  I have been doing the costly MS ones as you may have noticed recently and these are non-returnable - i am still awaiting feedback to see that it all went ok - and i think its only when you get confirmation that its ok it goes towards payment being sent which i *think* is a month later ? or 6wks ? i can't really remember :o

Haha to being on hold for 15 minutes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - especially as i expect you'll still get paid ? ;)

I *need* to do something as one of my targets is raising a £1000 to cover the gutters and fascias being replaced and for my part towards 2 new windows - Mr doesn't believe the gutters and fascias need to be done so he won't contribute to that :(

  • Hmm... up late as i am still exhausted :( and i am not looking forward to work at all today :( i am in fact counting down the days to the weekend and the to the next time i have a day off :o The work is hard but not in a challenging way - it is in fact dull :o

I need to stop checking my bay of e listings but i have a bid and a couple of questions so potential sales there i hope.

I am keeping track of my spending and was hoping for an NSD yesterday but ordered a book i needed - thought it was on my to do list but it wasn't - maybe i should add it just to cross it off ? ;)

Today i *may* buy a lottery ticket if i get time - i do play its just i don't normally play todays and this will then scupper another potential NSD bah!

I think you need to get some extra strength 'get up and go' pills or take half that stuff off your list :D You do too much - no wonder you are exhausted. You have achieved so much and are so good with your lists and getting stuff done but at this time of year you need to build your defences a bit hunny.

I see you have already started the november £300 challenge :T i had best get cracking lol

    take care x
  • I've had a terrible day at work so I'll be buying a lottery ticket. Let's hope one of us has a good win!

I've not done any big reimbursement jobs. What sort of thing was it?

I don't mind the recorded telephone calls because normally it just involves asking a question and then the call centre person is left to do the talking. It was kind of good that they didn't pick up my call so I didn't need to fill in most of the questionnaire. The slight downer was that I was supposed to order something and would have been reimbursed so I did lose out overall. I was tired so getting a fee for an empty questionnaire seemed like quite a good result.

I have never done the car ones either. They don't appeal to me because I'm not that interested in cars and I am not really into haggling. I have heard they are good fee earners, particularly if you pick up a few in the same area. Maybe give one or two a try.

It's not good when you already need the weekend to come around to have some time off. I do feel for you. I hope things improve for you.

  • Morning World,

Such a busy couple of days ahead of me though i will pop on here when i can x

Plenty of watchers but only 1 bid so far on the bay of e *fingers crossed* for more ;)

Popping out for a bit more xmas shopping today too. although stuff will need to be tried by recipient to ensure its what they want.

Cupboard tidy continues apace - hoprfully this will be finished this week so next week i can get the utility room done.

    Then the landing

    Then the hall :o

Rubbish being thrown out and anything not rubbish being put on the bay of e / carboot ;) I do feel good getting rid of things we don't want / need any more :D

Well my assignment won't write itself apparently so i'd best scoot - see you all later xx

  • Hey everyone, just on my way home now. Feeling really anxious about my assignment, i felt quite sick this morning and completely fatigued and dizzy. So i simply lay down to the point of having to go to work. Whilst the nausea, dizzy spells and exhaustion are nothing new they do completely wipe me out :o( Which means i didn,t work on my essay at all. I have accepted that now its just important that i hand something in - even if its awful. But i am a bit bag of nerves over it all.

Hoping by saturday to have gotten a couple of things out of the way on my list - assignment being a priority and hopeful i,ll a) feel better about things by then and b) hope i start to get the keg of energy and well feeling that i am overdue.

Another item has a bid on on the bay of e and hopefully i have purchased another xmas present.

Positive vibes for my assignment please. Hope you are all well.

Chocs - big spends for me anyways is anything over £20 x
