  • Wise words pickle - i am all out of sync with my sleep pattern at the mo. though - i think i got about 2 hours at the most last night :(- i should probably have just gotten up and done something productive - Grr! I was so out of sorts i rescheduled my expensive MS as well. I really think getting in 10.30/11 as i pretty much am now is not helping - i get home and feel awake - there is no opportunity to alter these hours without changing my job though - and i've not found any new jobs to apply for lately. Something else i need to schedule into my routine though as i am so focused on work / study / debt at the mo. as well as the typical grocery shopping / washing / ironing / cleaning etc. etc.

Although i have not been as focused on the debt as i should have been today :o Confessions of a little shopper :o I found out yesterday that a few shops i like had sales on so headed out in my lunch today and bought.... 6 things.. 6!!!! eep! what was i thinking  Sometimes i think i have a subconscious urge to sabotage my debt free efforts :o Anyways i haven't tried anything on yet but 5 of the things i got i wanted/needed for months. There was another item i have wanted for a long time but i'm hoping it will be reduced a bit more first. I will try these things on and then decide if i'm keeping them. I know some of the reasons i buy stuff - i like 'pretty' things - i hope by having nice things then i'll look nice in them and feel good about how i look and feel this helps with confidence too. (yes i'm a tad on the insecure side) i'm also a girly girl in some ways - handbags / shoes / nice clothes. Since gaining weight i have been living in leggings and loose / baggy tops for a long time so i now have a few more things in the size i am now (that will hopefully fit). I have not done a shopping spree like that for a very long time though. I also know when i was younger i didn't get anything new very often - if i did i didn;t get to go the shops and choose something it was just bought for me - or of course i had hand me downs. I obviously shop at the carboot lots now so having something second hand is not a problem for me - in fact i love finding something i want thats a bargain. So understanding all these things for possible motives for shopping i don't know why i can';t deter myself :o Although it may be significant that i only feel guilty about the extra item i picked up that i hadn't had my eye on for a while - a dress reduced from £50 to £15 - all the things i got were a similar discount so a good price. I didn't spend more than the extra i've made this month either. Although i'd forgotten about the £200 i spent so i am a bit

Hoping to get to bed in a bit hope you are all well xx

    Hi all,

Had a completely rubbish day yesterday - car broke down in the middle of nowhere :( it couldn't be fixed where it was so had to arrange to have it towed (more expense) :( Luckily i got it back this afternoon - but the mess about yesterday took up pretty much the whole day and a good chunk of time and money this afternoon :( Which means the money i had budgeted for the MOT has all gone and more besides which i haven't got.

    Oh well...

Have started going through the bits i bought the other day and seeing what i can return for a refund now - worn some things - work shoes & a jacket & a cardigan already so i can't return everything. Also gone through a good selection of clothes and put some out for the carboot, thrown some other stuff and got a few bits for the bay of e.

Also, one whole day late i got the tax return done, printed and in an envelope ready to go. Thank Goodness! In the process got a few bits tidied away - quite alot more to do. So best get on - hope you're all good x

Urgh! Does anyone know how to get more hours into the day ? Or more days into the week ? Or, failing that, more energy so that more can get done in the day ?

I have to conclude that sundays are pretty much a write-off for me in terms of 'getting things done' i'm usually just too tired, in shock that work is looming large on monday and then added to that i seem to keep having unexpected social callers and i also need and want to spend some nice time with my mr :)

I returned a few items today - i was hoping for a refund on everything but one of the items i got could not be refunded  apparently it says on the receipt exchange only - yeah after i've bought it! the sales assistant was lovely but grrsomeness!!! So i have instead got a fabulous pair of leggings - they don't look much on the hanger but i saw a girl with them on the other day and they look fantastic worn and a skirt and a bracelet - i was scouring for the cheapest things i'd definitely wear so was very happy with what i got from the sales section although of course cash is king and all that! At least it was a bit of a silver lining...

I desperately *need* a new job but am not really sure when to look and have no time to spend applying i was thinking of contacting a job agency but the ones near me seem or should i say that were near me don't seem to be there any more :( i think i'll just need to take the plunge and track down a job agency and get my cv in. Just don't even have the chance to do this - work is so draining :(

I'm trying to save a bit of money on the old xmas budget so will be sorting out my little stash of gifts this week - i'm hoping the people i budgeted £20 for that i've already got them enough *fingers crossed*

My huge 'try on and clear out' got rid of between 20-30 items which is good :T some to bay of e some to carbooty and the odd item thrown out. Some are in the wash so if they are ok they'll get listed next time :) I did quite well on the clearing out but got held up with visitors so a bit more to do and then to tackle the almost inaccessible spare room - i don't even know whats happened in there  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you are all well xx
