Hey Everyone,
Thank goodness its the weekend - had a horrid week in workwhich impacted on my sleeping
I then got a migraine yesterday but of course had to just work through it
Then i've gotten up today and feel like i've got the start of flu
The good news is though that i did complete the wardrobe declutter :T There are a few bits that aren't in the wardrobe that need sorting out still so hope to get round to them today and thats all done and tidy then.
As i am such a butterfly though i started addressing some of the things in the spare room which resulted in clearing out 6 bags of stuff - a couple for rubbish a couple for bay of e / carboot and a couple just to give to other people. Was good to make such a big impact in a relatively short time tooAlso sorted out all my handbags.
Next things to sort out are:- scarves and hats and gloves,
Vanity bags where i stash all my toiletries.
Bedside cabinet - 3 drawers and top of cabinet
Underwear drawer and top of this set of drawers
Desk drawers x 2 in spare room + top of this
and window ledge
and 2 shelves
Landing
i also have to write 4500 words  and submit my assignment this week - and have one more MS to do
So i am hoping to write approximately 500 words and then list some things on the bay of e as a bit of a break and alternate between the 2.
Hope its a good weekend for all xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hope the assignment is going well. 4,500 words seems quite a lot to me - maybe that's why I took a science degree! I'm sure that once you are on a roll with it, it will be OK.
Pressing the word count button is a bit like refreshing the ebay selling page, isn't it?
Have a nice weekendMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Good luck with the assignment
and well done with all the sorting out! Have a good weekend x

I am pleased with the progress i have made and have got about 800 words of the first draft done on the assignment. However i was very sick - knew i didn't feel right all day - so this has kinda stopped anything else from being done. I had got all my bay of e stuff done to go on so later i might just pop them on - i know its not FLW but would be happy just getting the start prices and occasionally i follow the lovely Jwils advice and list stuff when there isn't quite so much else going on which the FLW causes.
I had a super long time in bed only getting up this afternoon and that was after the clocks went back. Still feel a bit off colour so today is just an easy pottering about day. The window ledge in the spare room is niggling me though. It would take me about 10 minutes to clear it - as in take off the items which are on there and re-house them so that they are properly tidied away. And then that would be it - the whole room would have been done :T
So if i get the energy and feel i can stay upright long enough then i will do this
I also managed to get another bag of stuff together for the carbooty - it is just slightly worrying that my usual source for sales - my clothes, shoes and bags - have all been sorted out now and everything that was going to be listed already done  i do need to have a big push before the end of the year if i am going to pay off the last of the money owed.
Hope everyone else is having a nice weekend xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Oof posted as longish update yesterday that promptly disappeared.
Summary was: still poorly - contacting tutor today for extension on assignment - not going to beat myself up over this its been hard to do and alls i'm managing at the mo. is work and sleep.
Money update: - spent far too much this month but then several hundred pounds was spent that i had not budgeted fully for: - £200 gifts - will receive a bit back, £200 MS will be reimbursed and nearly £300 getting car towed in and fixed  Dratted thing is due its MOT friday and it's better pass!positive vibes please.
All of this i couldn't have predicted but i have also been overspending on food shop and then spending again on lunches  - this has to STOP!
So i have armed myself with a spending diary to jot everything downand help me keep track - i need to spend as little as possible in november BUT:-
I have MOT to pay for as mentioned above
2 birthdays - family do's and going out budgeting £150 for remaining gifts, drinks, taxi's and nice restaurants - really hope to come in under this budget but that remains to be seen
A part that has been on order for months is in store £50 spend.
Gig in another town quite a trek away so need to budget for travelling there and what with the time it'll take i think we'll have to eat there too - can't see my friends being happy about a packed lunch :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and still its a night out - will look for the cheapest item on the menu and stick to water
And all of this without even thinking about christmas *yelp*
Few bits sold on the bay of e +£5 for me few more bits ending today and the rest in a few days.
Gotta dash. Hope all are well and i hope to catch up with you all soon xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi good to drop in on your diary again DDFW...still love those lists of yours!
Have a great day and agree re the big push..we have just restarted some lists on A..but unfortunately only CDs have gone so far...not those academic books at $100 or so each!! OH also has a vintage game that I talked about on here months ago but we never listed so might try that.. He hates listing but has to be done IMO..

Hang in there. You have an awful lot on at the moment. I wouldn't beat yourself up about eating out or buying ready prepared food when your time and energy need to be spent on other things.
I have my fingers crossed that your car will sail through the MOT. I remember I used to dread the garage calling me in case it was to ask me to authorise them to spend a lot of money on repairs rather than to say the car was ready!Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hey DDFW, sorry to hear you are still not feeling right. Look after yourself first.
Got all my fingers and toes crossed for the MOT. Mine's due next month, so I feel your pain!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
