Hope everything's ok DDFW.
That's a pretty good batch of clothes for £39 so if you do decide to keep them it's not the end of the world.
You could do a deal with yourself - one in, one out. So if you want to keep an item, find something you've already got to sell in exchange.
Have a good day
Sound advice as always jwil
thank you x
i haven't made a decision on anything as yet as i am just so exhausted i have not tried anything on
I am due to be going out later and really should try the pants on that i'm intending to wear (not new but not worn forever) but i just do not have the energy so will just leave everything to the last minute
It is pouring down here today and was the same yesterday - at least the garden is getting watered
As tired as i am i have to go for a run a bit later - hopefully sploshing through some puddles will give me some energy
I can only hope. And before you all think i'm silly going running the doctor has told me no matter how exhausted i feel i have to exercise every day so it quite definitely doctors orders - i do wonder though if they really understand how absolutely fatigued i do feel.. ah well.
Hope you are ok jwil xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

I agree with jwil...that's a good haul for £39. Better than me on my last retail therapy trip in last week of Feb! But yes declutter some things if you keep these new clothes, or perhaps take some back. I also think you've been feeling carp recently...letting yourself go a little is understandable and makes you human ( I only say that as i was beginning to think you were some kind of deity with your MSE focus...;))
I have dipped a bit on surveys. If i can't do them on the iPad then I resent the time spent and increasingly they seem to want me to swop to a PC. But they are a useful supplement.
Can't see anything else to eBay. Maybe I just need to try harder...
Have a great weekend.
Ooh brizzle an ipad! i am very jealous
they do seem to be such an amazing gadget
MSE focus moi?
i do try but as you say we are all human and i do slip-up. Even though i recognise my spending is triggered by something emotional i have not found yet how to change this
But at least these were bargains and i got lots and lots of quality items all from top high-street shops too. Still as i say no decisions to keep items has been made as yet.
i've also been letting a few surveys go. But am not going to worry about this - i do the ones that are worth doing but i can spend 20 minutes of my time far more productively than earning 15p.
And snap! I don't have anything to eb*y either. I really must try harder!

So a little update from me

So i've confessed to the spending already. What else have i been up to?
I've cleaned the whole house - which included cleaning up after OH doing a bit of a job so took a bit of doing.
I've done all the washing, drying, and moving of things. Plus changed the bedding and washed and put away.
I'm keeping up with the endless round of pots that keep need doing. I've cooked tea every day.
I've done *some* study but need to do some more - but its hard to find a quiet space to do this in
I have been reading a bit too
I've been to a music event and am going to another.
I have exercised for the last few days and need to do so again today  and every day thereafter
I will do some crochet either today or tomorrow.
I have arranged for a major job to be done - money was put aside for this from the sale of my car.
I have arranged for a quote for a small house maintenance job - just awaiting them coming before i go for a run.
I need to do a bit of eb*y - mostly re-lists plus 1 or 2 newly listed items.
I have kept up with my PADs.
I have enjoyed a most pleasant chat or 2 with the lovely neighbours.
I have looked every day for a job to apply for.
Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend

Erm.... if this is what you do when you are exhausted and haven't achieved anything then there's no hope for me
You've done loads!!
I struggle to find quiet time for study too, DH often has the radio or tv on when he's home so it's harder to focus. For me (as I'm a morning person anyway) I'm most productive if I try and do an hour before I get out of bed. There's nothing to distract me then.
If you are too tired to run, a walk will be just as beneficial.
Enjoy the rest of your day

Thanks jwil - think i'll have to put the study off until tomorrow when i know i'll have a bit of quiet time

I have to run as (to make myself exercise because obviously being told to do so by numerous doctors isn't working) i have entered a race - its to push myself into exercising but i am a bit  about it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You have achieved so much this weekend - i keep seeing on your thread what you've been up to and think *gulp* i *do* feel there is more i could do

So i promised more regular posts so here i am

It is very wet weather here - but it was when i went for a run yesterday so it will be fine - just need to find some energy from somewhere first
Somehow i feel today will be more of a walk than a run
I have been meaning to say as well - if you've all seen my list of purchases you'll have seen a couple of dresses earmarked for holidays. We have booked a holiday and it is so much earlier than we normally go away. If it hadn't been for the holiday - due to the related costs with spending money (and then me buying these 2 things for it
) then i would have been able to clear target 3 this month. Its just one of those things i'll have to accept i guess.
Oops apparently i'm going out now! See you all later

I'm back!

Have been on a lovely 5 mile walk :T So may well just run tomorrow instead. Indeed i am very tired still and am wondering what exciting things I can do today with low energy ?
I still have to cook tea today, and i've watered half my seedlings and have the other half to do
I no doubt will manage a bit more reading which is good as i *do* love to read
and just haven't been able to focus on it for such a long time. So its nice to be able to start again.
I *think* i will do a bit of crochet first
and then see what else is on my list of things to do and things i *want* to do.
I really must get my re-lists and a new item on eb*y later on today - so a money thing there
Lets see how i get on shall we?

Sounds like you've had a good day so far DDFW

Your holiday will only put you a little behind, so don't worry about it

Thank you jwil

Feeling that everything is rubbish today but i don't want to come on here and moan because it can't be very nice reading for everyone
I did get about 25 minutes of study done early today and will try and do some more later on too
I did get my eb*y stuff listed and re-listed so that is good and of course even better if things sell
Will look for a new job - it seems better to do it later in the day when everyone has had a chance to pop their adverts up
I also *must* make a decision about the clothes i bought last week and sort out if anything is going back
Hope everyone is well
