Hey DDFW,
Well done on the sales :j
There's nothing wrong with saying 'no' sometimes, you have to look after yourself too. Definitely plan your week next week, block some slots in for tasks you need to do, and tell people you aren't available during those time periods but can help them out on x day instead."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a nice flurry of sales last week (only low value, but a number of items) so that was good. Everything on there at the moment is pretty much a relist so I don't have huge hopes there."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi ddfw
Been a busy bunny and have not been on the laptop much this week. Glad to hear your sales are going well. Pace yourself and do what suits you."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Thanks jwil - there is also the guilt with family though isn't there? Thats what makes it so hardI had a nice flurry of sales last week (only low value, but a number of items) so that was good. Everything on there at the moment is pretty much a relist so I don't have huge hopes there.
Well done on the sales jwil - they all mount up :T Mine are all pretty much re-lists now and i've still had some good sales from them - sometimesafter the 6th time of listing themAnd at least re-listing doesn't take any time at all really

Hi all
Well i have just paid another hefty amount off the debt total :T and as hoped i have paid off target 2 in full now :T
I had 7 debts at the start of this year. i now have 4 - 2 credit cards, an overdraft and a personal bill. Target 3 is one of those credit cards. At the start of this month it was my 2nd highest creditor and then the highest as i paid off target 4 in full. Target 3 is now my 2nd lowest creditor and i will have some PADs to make to this over the next 2 days also. So i have not achieved my challenge of reducing the balance to £1000 from £2535 - which was really a challenge to pay £1035 as £500 i knew i would be paying anyway but i have made really good progress towards this
I would have done even better if all the bills hadn't just come in - phone, electrickery etc.I'd have also done even better if the cashback had paid out. Considering i have also cleared a debt of £250 over the month though as well i think i have done very well

Thanks jwil - i was surprised at the amount myself - it really does show how all these bits add up doesn't?
Obviously i'm really pushing to get to the next milestone which will be 1 overdraft, 1 credit card and 1 personal - obviously want to be rid of them all but i know i need to take it one thing at a timeCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
