    Hi ddfw

Havent had the chance to catch up on the diaries these last couple of days. Not enough hours for me to get things done. You are doing really well with you PADs. You are so organised. :) Wish I had half your drive at the moment.

Your buys sound lovely and you saved money too. You have to do these things now and again especially when you are directing every spare penny to your PAD's. You are far too hard on yourself my dear. Relax and enjoy your book.

I have been outside these last few days getting bits and bobs done in the garden and hope to do so again today. Feeling sore so thats a good sign :) Need to shift some of these stubborn pounds. Ate no bread at all yesterday and hope to do the same again today.

Good luck with ebay and take care of yourself. :):)

i did mean to send you a message to check you were ok - good to hear you've been busy in the garden - something i need to get on with too :)

i think i talk alot so it sounds like i do alot when the reality is i could do alot more :o - you always sound like you achieve so much x

Oh bread - i love bread :o and pastry :o and cakes :o oh dear! :rotfl:

Glad you are ok hon x

    Hi everyone :)

Well i realised i've not been quite strict enough with myself of late. And so i suddenly had a little repeat LBM and made the decision to go back to doing something i used to do  Not sure why i stopped ? Maybe its because i felt my spending habits had sufficiently changed that i didn't need to do this any more? Or maybe i eased up on the debt-busting  Maybe things became just far too tight for me to maintain this ? But in an attempt to curb my spending - too much spent on grocery shopping of late and this has to stop NOW ! And spending money on a treat for myself that was a treat and not a need :o

So i'm now going to be moving the money which i *would* have spent on something else but *didn't* over to debt ;)

Today my lovely mother treated me to a top £5 - i would have given this to her but she absolutely refused £5 to pay to debt

I should have bought a book but OH will be buying it - he'll no doubt pay for it in full so saving me £7 so again £7 to go to debt

On Saturday i was due to go to a carboot - but it was wrongly advertised - i'd have budgeted more than £10 for this but will put £10 to the debt as its uncertain how much i'd have spent :o

On Saturday night i have the opportunity to go out but won't be so again £10 = £10 over to the debt

Gosh all of that totted up = £32 a huge amount really when you think about it - the book is essential at £7 but the rest isn't but is more fun / enjoyable stuff.

So that £32 will be moved over and it will form some of the daily PADs for the next few days ;)

    Hi ddfw

We all take the foot of the pedal now and again. Its not abnormal to do so. I think we need to do this for realisation to hit us and to jump-start the penny pinching again.
Sounds like you are going to have a weekend at home. Try and relax and read your books :)
Your mam is lovely.:) Thats what us mams do for our little ones:):):):):)

    take care :)

    Hi everyone :D

I did mean to post on here yesterday but after catching up on other diaries i was far too tired to do so as i was having a very exhausted day with pathetically low energy levels :o

Today i have not been too bad - but then i have not done much either ;)

I have made sure that i have had breakfast and lunch - both intended to combat tiredness and dizzyness.

I have been out in the sunshine - just sat out with a cuppa and a book :)

My books arrived that i ordered and i am very impressed with both mine and the gift set :T:T:T

So i also sat in the garden with my new cake book and have decided that i will start off with the first recipe in the book :D should be scrummy :)

There is alot that i need to do though so must get on with some of these things later

I posted elsewhere about being very fed up with thinking about money all of the time :( i am constantly thinking about what needs paying, when am i expecting to get any money in, when is my next payday is, when my next 5 paydays are :o - wishing my life away waiting for the time to pass so money can come in and be paid off bills - it is the first thing i'm aware of when i wake up :( even on a lovely day like today :o

In good news i sold an item yesterday and along with my couple of smaller sales is over £40 winging its way to my account :T

I've also got bids on a couple of other things - hoping there'll be more bids but if not thats another £25 to bills once the listings end and the buyers pay up :)

Which reminds me i still have that non payment thing and i can't list it for sale this weekend as the 'buyer' has not responded as yet

ebayqueen - how are your items doing?

jwil - yes it is good with these treats :)

Hey DDFW, hope you've had a good day. Glad you managed to get some sun.

I know what you mean about constantly thinking about money, I'm the same and it's exhausting.

Glad the books are ok, and looking forward to hearing cake tales :D

    Have a nice evening :)

    Morning DDFW

Not much to tell you. Have about 6 items finishing today as I have not put the effort in the last few days. Have so much to do around the house now the sun is shining and pointing this out to me :):):)

Delighted to hear you sat down and enjoyed your book. You need to do that a bit more often. Its hard when the debt is hanging over you to not have it on your mind all the time. I think with you that your DFD is within your sight and reach that you are feeling the extreme need to get it sorted. Its a good thing DDFW to feel but it takes its toll on you.

I have a bit of a suggestion to put to you. Picture a lovely cake and divide it into the months you have left to reach your DFD and every month you can cut a lovely slice out of it...and then you will end up with a pretty empty plate. Hope this helps.
Enjoy the sunshine. I might list 5 items today of a higher value. Need to take a few pics too.
    Take care ddfw :):)

    Thanks jwil :)

Cakes - well i've already changed my mind on what i'm going to bake first :o But its because i thought i had a bottle of the alcohol in i need for the recipe and i don't so i've decided not to spend about £20 just to bake this and am going to go with the savoury cakes first of all instead :D

I will let you know when they are done :)

Excellent cake advice there ebayqueen - although it doesn't take into account my greed / impatience :o

I have nothing ending today as i listed alot of stuff for a longer time so sadly nothings finishing until during the week now. I've also not made the effort with listing anything new as, apart from the category where i'm limited on what i can list  i have nothing to list so will involve some work in finding stuff to flog

Hope you get some good bids :D

There is always so much to do in the home isn't there? It really is never ending isn't it? Hope its nothing too taxing for you and is all stuff easily sorted out :)

Well i am officially exhausted :( Yesterday i took it very easy but just did not have any energy whatsoever. I think i'll see about getting a blood test and seeing how my thyroid is bumbling along these days. Its been a while since its been checked and although i know the tiredness like this feels like my thyroid playing up i always seem to try and soldier on a bit longer :o

I have had a cuppa :coffee: and breakfast. And i'm very pleased to say i'm limiting myself to 2 coffees a day and then if i want a hot drink i'll have hot pop or a delicious fruit tea - collected from all the B&B's we've stayed in :D - very mse indeed :)

The sun is indeed shining again here today. So i think i'll grab a pad and some colourful pens and go and get some more vitamin D :) - although it does seem to be a bit colder today so it may only be a brief foray into the garden ;)

I had hoped to head out for a spot of lunch today - of course, totally unbudgetted for but as i can't get a whole day away i thought a reasonably priced lunch in a different area would give me that nice feeling of escape and help recharge the old batteries. OH definitely doesn't seem to be in the mood for it though :( Maybe i should tell him he can cook tea and clean up after as well then eh? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So i really don't think we'll be going out - but if not i will move some money across to debt - maybe £10 / £15 or £20 as i would have had to pay my half for a meal.

For now though i'll get my pad and pens and hope the breeze isn't as chilly as it it looks :D
