Thanks brizzle - although its only because i can't stop thinking about the debt at the moment which is why i just keep going with everything - well most things - i must admit some very long and tedious surveys for very little payout have fallen by the wayside :o

    Hi All :)

Well i went to bed yesterday filled with optimism and positive thoughts for all i would achieve this morning :)

Which lasted as far as me waking up at 2.48am quite ill _pale_ Which meant i was then wide awake - i toyed with the idea of getting up and doing something productive as i was awake enough and inevitably thinking about bills and money - but decided against this as lying down i felt a bit better - not much but a bit :o Obviously i then dozed off at about 6.30am :o

So feeling bleurgh and lacking in energy or motivation to do anything much really :o But i am going to go over my figures for the next 5 months. The reason being i really don't think i'll hit target this month :( I didn't hit target last month which put me behind :( I could have caught up somewhat but have had to pay for my next OU course. I usually borrow the money to do this but realised after speaking with the lovely jwil that it is a debt (that i've not included in my figures ) and needs repaying every month so its paid for now. At least i guess its better than adding to the debt or just shuffling it around.

I was going to apply for another job on a fixed term contract but decided against this for 2 reasons - 1, i don't have the qualification they have detailed and 2, this company seems to be advertising a few jobs of late - i'll hopefully apply for a permanent role rather than fixed term or at least fixed term for 1 year rather than 9months - and i guess the 3rd reason is i have already applied for 1 job with them (which i may not have the exact knowledge for - all detailed on my app) then this one would be an application where i didn't have all the quals so i didn't want to jeopardise a 3rd time lucky vacancy that i do have the quals and skills for (she says hopefully) only for it to look like i'm desperate and applying for anything as the 2 roles so far have been really quite different :o

Hope everyone else is well :)

Sorry to hear you've not been feeling right DDFW - there must be something in the air at the moment.

Hope you are feeling a bit better now though.

Fingers crossed with the job hunt :)

Urgh! Just thought i'd found a job i could apply for - on reading further i discovered that its between 16-20 hours a week - nowhere near enough for me on the wage being offered and is fixed term contract - fixed term contract i could live with but sadly not with less income at the mo. :(

At least i am becoming quite adept at spotting sales jobs that are trying to say they are not sales jobs - nothing wrong with sales - i've done it for several years before and was really quite successful but its just not what i want to do now :(

That's frustrating. I'm sure something will come up soon :)

    Hiya ddfw

Heading to England today so wanted to pop on and catch up with your diary. So very sorry to hear that you have not been well again. Good to hear you went to the docs for blood tests.

Its not easy for you carrying the burden of the debt all by yourself and your body eventually suffers. Try and get a day this weekend that even though you do some ebay listings. Step away from the laptop and relax yourself. You deserve it.

All will work itself out ddfw but its hard work working towards its. Look how far you have come and the finish line is in sight.

    God bless

    Confession Time :o

So i have not been posting as much on my diary of late - but i will post a bit more regularly over the weekend. I really should be prepping tea right now but just *had* to come on and confess my spends :o

Had a couple of things happen which triggered my comfort shop / retail therapy response. Below is the damage but i did check that all items can be returned ;)

    1 coat reduced from £80
1 summer dress for my holiday reduced from £32
1 summer dress for my holiday reduced from £50
1 evening out dress reduced from £49
    1 skirt reduced from £29
    2 bra's reduced from £14

    Total spend £39

I have not tried any of it on and it could all be returned if necessary. Right best make a start on tea!

hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

    Hope everything's ok DDFW.

That's a pretty good batch of clothes for £39 so if you do decide to keep them it's not the end of the world.

You could do a deal with yourself - one in, one out. So if you want to keep an item, find something you've already got to sell in exchange.

    Have a good day :)

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Hi DDFW

I agree with jwil...that's a good haul for £39. Better than me on my last retail therapy trip in last week of Feb! But yes declutter some things if you keep these new clothes, or perhaps take some back. I also think you've been feeling carp recently...letting yourself go a little is understandable and makes you human ( I only say that as i was beginning to think you were some kind of deity with your MSE focus...;))

I have dipped a bit on surveys. If i can't do them on the iPad then I resent the time spent and increasingly they seem to want me to swop to a PC. But they are a useful supplement.

Can't see anything else to eBay. Maybe I just need to try harder...

    Have a great weekend.
